Same interviews with jk and sc as in the 5 minute snippet you posted earlier
I don’t think it’s the same
The one I’m referring to is from 2010 on channel 4 made by Billy Dosanjh

This one I believe is a year old, I think 2014 is when it went on YouTube, same interviews, jk in front of a pylon and sc in her living room, her sister talks at the end about how she has been missing 12 months, must be the same one I think

does jk keep avoiding the camera by looking down and talks about “ he started it and he should finish it “ ?

All we get now is ‘excerpts’

Definitely the one, channel 4 Billy dosanjh, 23 mins long, probably 30 mins with adverts when 1st shown

Hi @MummyRatcliffe
I agree that it is difficult but far less onerous than having to trawl through all MSM and Social media which I have done and had to correct for inaccuracy.
The Blog platform does not allow this facility. Often I make changes that are for spelling and grammar or even to make it easier to read.

If you are looking for information around a particular date it is set out in timeline order.

I know that you have taken time out to read up on everything and that is commendable but there are some people who not only want research handed to them on a plate having it all done for them.

I would like to see more people providing new content and this is both an opportunity and my challenge for any newbies.

Hi @MajorLang. I've been thinking about two small loose ends and wonder if there's a possible connection.
In a report by Mirror Online, Karen Edwards, 56, said a witness said he saw evil Halliwell talking to Claudia through a taxi window. It is reported Claudia was asking if he had change so she could ring her dad from a phone box. The recent C5 documentary repeated the story.
Now I'm not pushing the Helliwell abduction theory but the "asking for change for a phone box" does interest me. Several weeks ago on here you led discussions as to where CL went for 25 minutes after she got a lift home in the afternoon of 18/3/09. Based on a massive assumption that she may have used a call box for occasional secret calls, I've googled the 2008 area and there was (& still is) a box down Melrosegate immediately after Heworth Hall Drive. This also fits with your guess that the lift home meant she missed doing something which she went back for. Just a thought!

You really are doing a grand job @MajorLang and thank you for the challenge. If there is anything I come across do I just post it here or shall I PM you so you can check if you already have the info? Thanks in advance.

Shame about the discussion going so quiet but I understand as it's such a frustrating case with very little to go on. But I've got to believe that it is absolutely solvable. I am willing to help in any way that I can.

I've had nearly 11 years on this case @ClaraBoo, and with no end in sight, we have to pace ourselves.

Hi, just a follower who's trying to keep up! Ref @Yozzer post #330 on Tuesday. According to the local paper's article, one of the properties searched in July 2009 was Plum Tree Court. Using Google, is it along Eastern Terrace from Heworth Green and then a right turn into a tiny side street. If so the 8/2008 Google Map shows a small boat with outboard motor outside a property sporting a small nameplate "Plum Tree Court".

Very odd, I hadn't read this article before. Good to hear the searches were wide ranging from the get go as expressed by locals, if indeed that's true, nevertheless it can be intrusive upon communities and disruptive to local morale.

So DO never made that left turn, he drove presumably to the end of Heworth Green then presumably along the Foss Islands/Fulford Road stretch round to RKC. He's going the long way in this scenario. He's choosing the route most like a motorway or A road. He'd driven from Stockton Lane, or Malton Road, both of which link to the A64 and lead to RKC from N>E side of York, as in counter to FI/FR route, depending on his starting point, aka home address. He potentially drove considerably out of his way, set off early for work that morning, with Claudia in mind. Only to drive past the turning onto Heworth Road. The first clear through route to the university from that side of York. Pathologizing small acts of kindness is nasty business but obviously this is a murder enquiry.

That dedication has to be applauded! How did you begin to become involved with this case? I haveeen following the case since the beginning, I was younger when it all happened and as the years went by it was the victim blaming and judgement that piqued my interest. But lately I have been looking more closely at the information out there. And granted, the police know way more than we ever will, but I can't help but feel this case is not too far away from a breakthrough. A small number of dedicated, smart and experienced people who care about bringing peace to Claudia's family and bringing the perpetrators to justice is far better than a full forum of distracting theories and 'filler'.

I will apologise in advance if anything I add has already been looked into and discussed before. I have tried to read through all the pages that I could before beginning to comment.

RE: Plum Tree Court - it's too nearby to warrant a lift in a car there, which implies the owner is likely a Nag's local too. LC cameras would have filmed Claudia walking to that property that evening so PTC was most likely searched in the context of the next morning but maybe evening, possibly a suspected driver/perp or car filmed driving/walking towards Claudia's house then assumedly right onto East Parade, making a another right turn just before the Co-op (CCTV/scope?) back onto Eastern Terrace, or from elsewhere on her route to work. I can see a diversionary logic to this from the perspective of a perp.

Maybe he has a bad memory and forgot he was picking her up after his long drive, after all it took him a year to remember the conversation he had about her new boyfriend

Something has been bothering me about the way he spoke and how he appeared to stop himself from saying something in his interview (recent Channel 5 doc) that has got me thinking he saw something that morning that he wasn't supposed to...did anyone else pick up on this? It's almost as if he noticed activity and that's why he decided not to turn down the road? When he says 'I wonder what had happened' then he looks up...maybe its just the way he speaks and it's his accent that's thrown me... It's just stuck with me ever since I heard him say it. (Around 24 minute mark)

I live nowhere near Yorkshire but I remember all the publicity of the case at the time, where he lives the media coverage must have been intense, add to this he worked with claudia and was also spoken to by the police, the fact it took 12 months to remember such a potentially vital piece of evidence is at best baffling
