No disrespect but how do you think the Cold Case Team/Police investigate and solve crime if they dont liase with the public

They may take witness statements or new information from the public but would they discuss evidence / have a back and forth with some joe public in what is still a live murder case and compromise a potential trial in the future when said people go on sites like this or Facebook and share alleged cold cases team input? From the criminal cases I’ve seen it’s not happened and I’ve seen more than a few large scale historical investigations in my time where the public have been in involved, all sexual granted ... I’ll be intrigued for a reply.

The alleyway from Heworth Road at side of Pub goes into rear car park of Nags.
However in 2009 at the rear of the car park is a further alleyway that ran from Nags Car Park into Heworth Place and behind Claudias property.
Whilst it was slightly overgrown in parts it was accessible.
Today the end by Nags car park is boarded up and the alleyway from HP has had flagstoned laid and has been cleaned up.
The alleyway separates the rear of Heworth Road houses with the rear of Heworth Place houses.
Some of the HP houses backed directly into the alley and had open to alley access.
Claudias house had a gate into her back garden as did others in Heworth Road.
Some of this can be seen if you use Google maps and select the Year change facility when available.

Is that blue image definitely a person? I saw it again last night on the actual footage played on Missing or Murdered. It stands out even on that as it’s bright blue but the bus is in motion and it’s hard to tell of the blue THING is moving.
If Quartz travel had CCTV at the front of the shop in 2009 I think that footage would be the missing piece to the puzzle. I’m almost convinced the braking car plays a part in this and the front of that shop is opposite Claudia’s house I believe, so that would’ve captured exactly what happened. The police almost certainly would’ve asked a business in that proximity for CCTV though I think.

Just a quick one, does the alleyway next to the Nags as seen in the attached pictures bare right and go directly behind Claudia’s house?? I think I’ve heard people say it does but is overgrown now and not really accessible but I think 11 years ago it was?

It’s far nicer now than it was ... def been tidied up since she vanished, decent pace to dump a body back then til you could sort out collection via the nags the next morning maybe? All those bushes and trees covering. When their presence maybe wouldn’t be missed or questioned?

It’s certainly something to consider. As always though, all roads seem to lead back to the Nags Head.

I spent a couple of hours last night reading through some old threads on the Facebook group and there’s actually some really interesting stuff on there.
This post from 3 weeks stood out to me, mainly because of the zoomed in still from CCTV revealing a smoking man. I’m not sure if this is something that has already been discussed here?
Also I can’t distinguish exactly which CCTV this is taken from as the poster doesn’t really make that clear? If it’s from the car braking CCTV then why is this image black and white? Wasn’t the car braking footage colour?

Yes indeed who is this man and what looks like a woman. there are many people floating about on that cctv if you look closely ...

Another interesting image in the shadows of limes court shortly before the silver car arrives on the morning cctv... this is also I believe Around the same time as when what appears to be a smoking man talking to a small woman across the road.

It would also be a good alibi/cover for a wife/spouse to use and a perfect opportunity for an 'illicit' meeting with CL.

But obviously you’re not talking about people that live close by ?!

I can confirm Cold Case Team checked and confirmed Tang Hall Man had not been identified.
As I said I have been in contact with them they have advised me that they believe the lead is worth pursuing and they will keep me updated. Which todate they have

I did take up the subject of the updating of the website. I understand it is not the Cold Case team that directly deals with this

I'm not seeing anything on the video clip - it looks like a piece of toilet paper on the grass and nothing moves at all.
What interests me is the person who is barely visible to the naked eye, just after the car goes out of sight at the top of the moving cctv image. Someone with a dark top and light/white trousers moves from CL's side of the road, into shot, walking towards the pavement on the opposite side.
