"YOU SENT THEM TEXTS! YOU KNOW WHERE KATIE IS!?!"

On Saturday April 23 2022, a screenshot was captured and saved to Burfield's iPhone gallery, showing the contact details for the Priory in Altrincham.
At 00.26 am Burfield contacted the police giving them details of the Priory saying: "Katie talked about this as being the best place." He said he had also asked Jenny about other places Katie had mentioned but said Katie blocked her a 'wile' ago.
At 6.26am, Jenny messaged Burfield, saying:
“Andy I think you know a hell of a lot more than you are letting on!! I have read over the msgs “katie” sent to her kids and she doesn’t even spell like that or speak like that which is what the kids have also said!
Katie knows how to spell and mentioned about you having dyslexia! Which makes sense to the spelling!
YOU SENT THEM TEXTS! YOU KNOW WHERE KATIE IS!?!
The police will trace where she was from the last msg sent. Doesn’t add up how she would drop her car, her keys, her bank card at yours but no phone and none of her other bank cards!!!
It’s about time you came forward and started telling some truth now”

15:30

'I think we should leave it to police'

He replied:
Jenny I know your worried and upset but you really can’t be throwing accusations at me like that, I had all that last night with Anthony and Sarah… I thought we might work together on this that’s why I give you my number….
I reported her missing last night as I said I would, I’ve given the police all Katie’s things she posted…This is Worrying Enough without you adding to it, the police searched my house to last night so I think we should leave it down to them now….
Jennifer replied:
"Still doesn’t make sense Andy! Yeah we’ll leave it there and hopefully cctv will give us answers"

Case adjourned

The case has now been adjourned until 10am tomorrow. We'll be back here with updates from court then.

A man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend and burying her body in a forest sent messages from her phone to her children just hours after killing her, and then dumped her bloody flip flops in a bin, a jury has been told.

On the second day of the trial into the alleged murder of Katie Kenyon at Preston Crown Court today (Tuesday), Detective Sergeant Steven Acres continued his evidence in relation to the 33-year-old’s final movements on April 22.

They were also told how Katie’s sisters, Jennifer and Sarah Kenyon, suspected Andrew Burfield had been involved in Katie’s disappearance, and sent text messages to him asking him where she was.

Thank you @Legally Bland @Alyce and @MsMiniSleuth for hard work and updates

Thank you. Busy week as down south another equally gruesome trial is into its fourth week with a double murder charge.

I'm feeling more than a little queasy with the horrific details that led to all three women's deaths.
