Sadly people of a certain political leaning are starting to have a field day with the guys nationality now on twitter and elsewhere!

If this is the guy, he may have had kids but maybe they don't live with him. He will have been familiar with the comings and goings of many students in the street, he could have watched them from his house.

The guy named by the sun and who you refer to is married, he latest child was born just a few months ago, he was married in 2016. Of the current photos available on him, the house police are searching today is definitely the same house on his photographs and he is also still very much together with his wife too. Not what any of us may have expected, a 24 y/o seemingly settled and happy husband and father to two very young children being arrested for abduction.

It could be that other's heard it and paid no attention, we use to have a lot of students who lived locally and most night's you would hear shouting, screaming and other loud noises, I became so use to it I stopped noticing the noise - But the scream was said to be very alarming & that's something you would notice... P.s Does anyone know if the police have confirmed that as a line of enquiry, if they have it's possible other's heard it to.
Also a loud and panicked scream certainly points towards someone being taken by surprise and grabbed of the street rather then being lured in to a car or a house...

Very true. I live in a student area and you become immune to it. Most of it is
students messing about, they will sound like they're in mortal danger one second and then be laughing the next. I have looked out occasionally but have never seen anything untoward.
Also if most of the houses round there are student houses, the occupants may have been out themselves.

Facebook photos suggest that the family do live togther and from outside appearances are a very happy one

There is a lot of police activity around Hull’s Oak Road Playing Fields as the search for university student Libby Squire continues. An officer has prevented me from walking any further towards the pond. There are now 3 police vans here, 2 cars & a specialist marine search team.

Here's a map with that park, the street Libby lives on, the park bench on Haworth, and the street where the arrested man lives.

That pond, silver car, Newland Av... all coming up repeatedly.

I'm getting a horrible Alice Gross feeling about that pond the Police keep returning to. How the killer went to great lengths to conceal/hide the body :(

I really hope it hasn't caused them to be unable to find her all this time.

Thanks for the info. It wouldn't surprise me too much. All kinds of odd types get married and have a family life as a cover, or because it's what they're expected to do.
There is of course, still the possibility that he isn't involved.

I'm actually wondering if a very drunk person would scream at all, would they be in a state to register what was happening and resist, I know not everyone reacts the same to too much alcohol but I'd say a drunk young woman might be quite easy to lure away without the need for anything physical

None of this makes any sense.

Only scenario I can think of - it was a cold night and roads were very slippery. Possibly she stumbled into the road and he hit her ? He’s then panicked and drove down to the oak park area ?

He looks like a normal guy with everything going for him!

So did Ted Bundy... people who just attack a girl, assault them etc. can look like some homeless creep guy. Someone who abducts, murders, conceals a body etc. can look very normal and have a very normal married life with children. That's what makes them so dangerous and why women trust them as they are not seen to be a threat.

There is a growing police presence at Hull’s Oak Road Playing Fields as the search for missing university student Libby Squire continues. A crime scene investigation team has just arrived. Officers have also begun opening up the manholes in the carpark.

Sounds like they are acting on intel' - maybe the guy they have arrested has told them something or the police have traced his movements in the last few days. Either way this is not looking good and from what I've seen on google maps it looks like there is quite a lot of vegetation, trees and such like close to the pond.

Mr Relowicz, who has been in the UK since 2014, lives with his wife, their two-year-old son and three month old baby.

The family live in a smart terraced house just a few minutes away from where Miss Squire, 21, was last seen sitting on a bench in the just before midnight last Thursday.
