True enough. She was referring to the "crying girl" he picked up. But that crying girl hasnt come forward to help his cause and absolve him of suspicion, so Im working on the supposition it is likely to have been Libby

@Miss_French

The further thought has just occurred. The police would be able to check if indeed a post code had been entered at all. If not they can ask where the bad info came from. Did PR lie to his sister or did she lie to the media. If there is a postcode entered they can match that with an address. That would either discount Libby being the passenger or reinforce the evidence.

The other thing I’m wondering is , he’s been charged with these things today but we aren’t allowed to know if he has any previous convictions? I would imagine when the police are looking at an abduction of a young girl they would pull up a data base of all petty type criminals in local area ? Who knows he could have been charged in the past for ‘sex’ type offences ?

Good point, as how else did they swoop on him so fast?

I’m afraid my opinion is that she is not being held alive.

But anything is possible and one must not give up hope, Jayme’s recent case is an example of this.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be looking up the moment.

I just considered that he seems to like control, has perversations that involve peeping, masturbating, stealing sex toys etc that he would keep her hostage. How often do perpetrators move from those types of crime straight to murder? Is there no inbeetween? Unless he was responsible for the rape at Hull uni someone posted about this afternoon? Then he would have made a leap in my mind. JMO

I'm thinking he may have picked her up before so her postcode was entered previously?

About the voyeurism charge changing between last night and this morning but I see you actually quoted Ched - sorry for the confusion (think I should go back to lurking, getting in a twist with quoting in replies)

I suspect that more people will come forward to report buglaries, I can imagine that in a predominantly student area if you come home and find your condoms or sex toys are missing you're won't necessarily think you've been robbed, you might assume you'd misplaced them or not even notice. I might be wrong but I can't see many students making a report to the police especially if they don't have insurance or haven't lost high value items.

We may find his list of pervy thefts is considerably longer

JMO

Or blamed your flatmate. I agree more will come forward

New on here and fixated with this terrible crime. I’m Canadian but former Brit born in Lincolnshire not far from Hull. I’ve posted this pic to show anyone not familiar with Hull just how close the Bench is to the car shown on CCTV

What a bizarre case!

If today's charges are legit, its hard not to think of the number of houses PR might have already been in in the area. He could already have been acquainted with Libby, knew her without her knowing him. Probably *knew* a lot of women in the area in that gross context

What always comes up with these home invasion types of cases, is the number of times perps break into homes and just *watch* people, in addition to regular burglaries.

And yet! There seem to be so many red herrings. Really reserving judgement here. Even the sister's statement vis a vis a drunken girl in his car are missing a context. We'd need to know the exact question she was asked, how it was phrased etc. She might have been speaking hypothetically or even of a past event.

Again, the sat nav would have a record of when the query was made.

Having said that, if it WAS from a previous encounter then why would he tell his sister he entered it that night, or why would she lie about it?
