sorry i have to say no it is never locked, not even during the lockdown when all of the other gates remained locked for months. its always open and it creeps me out in all honesty. it has done for some years.

Great day for the prosecution, they are really earning their money today. My blood boils at the arrogance of PR, especially when I think of poor Libby's loved ones having to sit and listen to his many lies, and watching him laugh when talking about her final moments. Just horrific.

Well, she could have put them back on after he'd driven off (I know over shoes is a struggle, but not impossible) but it's not quite (for me) the checkmate move I'd first thought. I'm suprised PR would notice, though, that she was holding them as he drove off. Ridiculous to suggest this scenario anyway. So, he suggests she removed them, 'gently threw them' at him, retrieved them, held onto them whilst getting out of the car to kneel on the grass to be sick, continued to hold onto them whilst having consensual sex, and still holding onto them whilst shouty screaming at him not to leave her.

I think he has a thing about pants based on his previois crimes, and what he said to his friend too about the car.

cornelius, I grew up next to Sutton Bridge but I’ve not lived in Hull for twenty years. I don’t think people realise just how big the river is at that point looking at the photos. If you stand on Sutton Bridge and then Stoneferry bridge and the river at ORPFs is between them you’d understand just how large and fast this river is right?!
(I never even knew ORPFs existed and I lived there till I was fifteen often returning to visit local family)
It’s not coming across on the photos just how frightening this river is

could be and needs to be for the timings to work. the timings have still not been discussed in detail but it will have to happen. i hope theres an explanation. maybe he was there longer by a couple or three minutes but...there is a chance he himself personally might not have killed her, though he is responsible for not saving her and he raped and abused her in the very least, shouldnt get out of prison.

Im querying this too. According to the lifeboat crew that fished her out she was wearing a black sports bra a skirt and trainers so why has the prosecution said she was wearing pants...im soooo confused now. Is this a reporting mistake or what?????

I think they said that was all they could see. Skirt probaly hid them and as they didn't get her out of water and a specialist boat did unlikely they saw more.

Edited to add in case anyone from U.S pants means knickers not trousers.

it is very dangerous and thick mud which obe can not escape without assistance...if the tide was very low that is. otherwise very strong chance u can not survive a fall in...a few people have, but not many.
