The property is a flat. If it was a 2 or 3 bed, it is possible that L shared a bedroom with the 13yr old. I saw photos online (newspaper) showing the front door and it showed the doorbell had been removed. I think it is quite unusual for a doorbell with a camera to be fitted, unless it is an area where there is a high crime rate. I wonder what other reasons there would be for someone specifically fitting one with a camera. Would people who are involved in the use or supply of certain substances fit them to see who is at the door I wonder.

Ring doorbells are becoming increasingly common. I don’t think much can be read into the ownership of one.

As ring bells become more common, there also becoming so useful to solving crimes.
I have seen suggestions that it’s neighbours doorbell, or it may have been on the flat.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot officially released yet so it’s mainly just rumours circulating at the moment and you can never trust the rumour mill completely.

I hope the youngest child, the baby, is not too distressed and is being looked after. It is so sad.

From earlier in the thread I think the youngest child is actually a toddler (there was some confusion on the year of birth). Normal procedure would be family member then emergency foster care wouldn't it? I'm certain the child will be being looked after.

I agree, they are very common around here and nothing at all to do with drugs, people like to be able to know who is at the door or check on parcel deliveries as well as general awareness of what's going on outside

My instinct is saying that this might have more to do with the 13yr old than the parents themselves. MOO.

I agree with regards to the 13yr old. I wonder if one of the adults assisted in some way and then they told the other one her son was missing. For all we know, she could have had nothing to do with any of it.

I wonder what they're searching for.

"Police divers have been searching the river while forensics teams go through the house.

The force on Tuesday widened the search area of the river with divers spending a fourth day scouring the water and its banks.

Specialist officers were seen searching the river banks after taping off another stretch.

Another neighbour said: "The divers have been in and out of the river for a long time now they're definitely looking for something specific.

"They've had the drone overhead flying up and down the river and the forensics teams have been in and out of the house. It's all very thorough."
