Is it Tuesday next hearing was it?Interesting. I wonder if Dr V or one of the others were providing the same reassurance/de briefs, in the earlier resuses. I so want to see the chart of which doctors responded to each resus request.

Ooops! It’s very late in your neck of the woods Dotta … I would head to bed.
It’s Tuesday soon :-/

I thought the police interviews were pretty much as formal as can be. Pretty much no room for her to show anything other than that which relates to the questions. i have no doubt as well that there would be a huge disparity in maturity and probably disposition after being behind bars for that long.Perhaps as an insight into her character/the things she says? From the police interview she doesn’t strike me as shy/awkward at all as was previously reported around when she was arrested by friend(s). I could be completely wrong but it will be very interesting to hear what she actually has to say and that ‘image’ of a shy, awkward persona.

Jesus, very similar vibe to her and Doc Choc's convos IMO26 Sep
LL to Dr V: [H] had a stable day, and took out the original drain at 8pm, 'just blocked tube, lots of secretions!'
DrV: "Never known a baby block tubes so often!! Glad she's had a stable day..."
27 Sep
LL to DrV: “[H] had resus again but not as bad/long-lasting as with us. Went to Arrowe.”
Dr.V: “Oh crap. Do they know why she did it this time? I’m glad she’s been transferred! How are you? Really rough set of nights for you. Xx”
LL: “No did exactly what she did for us, desat then didn’t pick up & dropped heartrate. Looked fine again after though but made decision to transfer which I think was sensible! X”
DrV: "Try to think of all the babies you’ve saved and have gone home happily with their parents. You’re a fab nurse. Hope you manage some sleep xx”
LL: “Thanks Ali Xx”
30 Sep
DrV: Hope work wasn’t too bad x
LL: Yeah it was ok. Baby I in 1 with distended abdo. Looks a bit rubbish. Having a chill on sofa in my PJs now.
Dr V: Poor baby I, not again. Sounds like well deserved chill on sofa, I’m doing the same. Let’s go and set up our own neonatal unit with all the other faces that don’t fit who often seem to be the best ones.
LL: Let’s do it, in New Zealand.
DrV: Yeah, come to NZ with me.
LL: plane/smiley with sunglasses/rainbow emojis.
DrV: “Defo come to NZ then! I could use a friendly face!!”
If it is true, I think it means one of two things:Yeah I can't see the CPS having a quiet word with People.com to tip them off, but I so hope it's true!
I've seen it happen many times. They sometimes will say something different and then explain why they changed their answers. But can she say anything else than what she did during Police interviews?
I think detectives covered everything with her.
Can she change her answers now?

It sounded good before I looked at the answer more closely. It really doesn't make sense to say 'I killed them on purpose " if you are then saying because you were not competent. Her responses regarding the post-it notes seemed perfectly rational, though, I thought. I doubt that anyone could do a better job of rationalising some crazy stuff they'd written down in a distressed state. JMO
I don't mean to sound like a snob. But how reliable is this source?
I'm not sure I belive it either. She may do but I don't really trust this alleged source. The CPS do nit give a running commentary on court trials, as far as I'm aware.U.K. Nurse Lucy Letby Will Testify Next Week at Infant Murder Trial
Lucy Letby, the British nurse accused of murdering seven newborns by injecting them with air, milk, or insulin at an England hospital is expected to testify at her trial, next week.people.com
Not sure I believe this, but very interesting!
I agree, can’t see it being reported anywhere else. I think they’ve seen it reported that the defence are due to start their evidence on Tuesday and made the assumption. But I do hope it’s true!I'm not sure I belive it either. She may do but I don't really trust this alleged source. The CPS do nit give a running commentary on court trials, as far as I'm aware.
She can say what she wants but the jury are entitled to consider anything she says in court that she didn't mention at arrest as counting against her, as per the caution. But can she say anything else than what she did during Police interviews?

I've said it before but I think she handled herself very well in police interviews. Thirty interviews must have been brain shredding - whether innocent or guilty! One thing that struck me about the police interviews was that LL's responses to the questions were pretty much exactly what posters here had imagined they might be. No surprises really, and nothing particularly incriminating. I was kind of expecting something a bit shocking that would make it easier to decide on whether she's guilty or innocent.
If she really is to give evidence on Tuesday then I suspect the defence are calling very few, if any, witnesses of their own. Its risky calling the defendant and why would you risk her potentially being totally destroyed which could undermine your experts?Say for instance that there was no defence case similar to the prosecutions coming up I think you are correct that it would be absolutely vital to the defence for her to take the stand. You never know the prosecution have presented their case so ll may actually be able to with the Help of mr Myers really put a different perspective on what’s been presented so far. I’m sure she would at least be able to give more info on the handover notes police interview, personal notes etc. if mr Myers can bring some of the witnesses we have heard from so far and really put them on the spot in a way that’s clearer than the cross Questioning which has been so predictable and repetitive then that will bolster the position. If she is innocent I think she would and should.
i Don’t know why but I find the prospect of her talking really interesting. I’m wondering if video coverage of her talking would be shown but remember someone saying it never is?
Dubious reliability.I don't mean to sound like a snob. But how reliable is this source?
Jmo ..but I do think that if guilty some of the latter cases were in order to get Dr Choc back on the unit Or for her to show off her skills to him ..I think across the whole time frame the "reason" She caused these deaths/collapses varied (if guilty) but a common factor was her own need at the time ..be it frustration , anger , not getting her own way etc jmo if guilty
Definitely. AV was present for babies F, for the second alleged attack on G and then for baby H. Then after child I, the texting focus moves over to Dr choc.Especially the feeling that IMO LL is trying to make it some kind of bonding exercise referring to what the baby did "with us" and for us"
Her diary entries read a lot like those of a close friend who had a total mental breakdown. She was writing bizarre stuff and then after a while could not stop manic rambling, and then had a total breakdown. She was not in the health sector though

Surely you'd have your experts and then the defendant if you thought you needed to?
