I remember the incident being mentioned by the plumber/maintenance man.

11:37am

Nicholas Johnson KC, for the prosecution, asks Mr Mansutti questions.
Mr Mansutti agrees that one of the problems for the flooding was adults 'putting things down sinks'.
One incident is somebody 'forcing a wipe towel down a sink'. Mr Mansutti accepts an incident did take place.
He says none of the incidents led to no hand washing facilities availability, and there is a system in place.

The jury were sent home after his evidence of an hour so an afternoon wasted imo. JMO

It was the 'forcing' bit that got me. I'm sure we all know that detritus and inappropriate things go down our sinks and get flushed in toilets then cause blockages but who would 'force' a wipe towel. That implies, time, effort, and force, over and beyond being lazy or mindless = intentional.

I appreciate we can't blame LL for random things going wrong in the hospital but if guilty, I would start to wonder what other methods of distraction and drama she caused in her work environment. I wouldn't be surprised if we start to hear some odd stories about her if a guilty verdict is returned.

She's highly narcissistic IMO and we know that Narcs like to cause confusion, disorientation, drama, disruption, and then gaslight people. That's the only reason my mind snapped back to the 'forced' wipe towel and I began to wonder if there was other strange stuff going on.

Sorry, but I had an attack of giggles imagining LL forcing towels down the sink hahaha
:D
Let's be serious!
It sometimes happens in my school, but it is Primary school.

Note that it says 'adults' - there's a clue in there I believe. Maybe the area in questions is one not accessible by any children and is even a staff area?

You have to ask yourself what kind of adult does this.
The same type of eejit that flushes sanitary products down the toilet, make-up wipes, baby wipes and nappies.

We’ve been flooded twice (in the cellar) after some new houses were built nearby. The first flood was a blockage of building materials from the new builds in sewer that stopped the flow so everything backed up into our cellar. The second time it was an accumulation of said products and fat. Totally disgusting+++ the people and the mess.

No idea :)

But blocking of sinks just happens.
That's the prose of life.
Shrug.

My landlord sent a long list of things that were *not* to be flushed - the list comprised about sixty different things that had been found by the drain clearing company.

Let's just say, it's quite a surprise to know what some people believe can disappear down a toilet and just disappear into the ether. The most surprising aspect is that when people do this, they're blocking their own drains and sewers as much as anyone else's. Odd.

Perhaps the same kind of person who does what they like regardless of consequences.

Texts constantly in the nurseries, and about patients
Takes patient paperwork home and keeps it
Allegedly roots through a bin to take out discarded notes
Allegedly falsifies patient records
Allegedly adds insulin to babies' feeds (and allegedly murdered and attempted to murder)
Stalks patients' families on Facebook
Trashes colleague doctors' and nurses' reputations
Goes on dates with a married colleague
Doesn't follow instructions from the shift leader
Ignores boundaries, intruding on the grief of parents

The list is almost endless

Re dating a married colleague

There must be TWO to tango

And she did not exchange martial vows but he

I'm listing the things related to her personality, not apportioning blame for the supposed affair. She chose her own part in it.
Sure, but this particular thing involved another person willing.
And in the position of power in hospital setting.

he's just not relevant to the matter that was under discussion.
I think it is.
Thousands of naive women fall prey to predatory married office Casanovas.
It is naivety/stupidity.
But is it the sign of criminal mindset/personality disorder?

I wasn't talking about criminal mindset, but disregarding consequences. That is what the question was - what kind of person would do such a thing as stuffing paper down a drain.

There are things she is allegedly guilty of.
But of others - Im doubtful.
Let's not make her guilty of the failings of the whole Universe.

The age old married man or woman affair is so emotive, we don’t actually know they did have an affair but I would be tempted to say they most probably did.
He was the married one not Letby so you would hope he had more about him than to go chasing after young blonde nurses and she should of kept well away.
I doubt he will do it again if he has any sense !
