Even if these people had been executed, it would not have equaled the crime. There is no justice here.

BUT, I hope the people associated with the execution of the punishment in this case can live with themselves. A crime like this seems to defy rehabilitation. All children are in danger here. And the public has a right to know who is living next door to them...at least in this case I think so.

There are monsters among us, and God help any children that might come across their path. I hope and pray that the authorities are keeping a very close eye on these "people".

I have read so many absolutely vile and horrific crimes on this website against children, but this story, Baby Peter's story, is the one that keeps me up at night. I have sat and cried, sobbing from my very soul for this little angel. I know that my emotions are greatly magnified due to reading about Baby Peter, while my life, my sweet little 2 year old son plays no more than a couple of feet from me, blissfully unaware of the evil in this world. I look at him and remember the innocent goodness that is part of all of us as well, and I pray to God every night, to protect those innocent children, send them their own Angels to hold them tight and fill their little bodies with peace and the pure, protective love they should have known.

I long for the day that I log in to this forum to see that the most recent crime listed is dated for the day before, and then log on the following day and see they are 2 days old....

A man jailed over Baby P's death is set to be released from prison on Friday, it was revealed today.

Jason Owen, who was convicted with his brother Steven Barker and the toddler's mother Tracey Connelly, is expected to walk free after spending just over two years behind bars.

It is believed he will be given a new identity and possibly plastic surgery to protect him from potential attacks from outraged members of the public.

This is truly disgusting.

Plastic surgery? At whose expense? I'm sure there are plenty of folks who would be happy to re-arrange his face free of charge.

I can't believe these monsters are walking free, and so soon!!! When I think how much it hurt me , physically, to hear my son cry!! How can such creatures bear to cause a child to cry?!?

I have seen no suggestion she was anything except substance abusing, neglectful and heartless.

Nazi-obsessed Barker, now serving a life sentence for raping a two-year-old girl, had even trained his Rottweiler to attack Peter.

THE mother of Baby P has been told she must stay in jail because she is still a danger to the public.

Tracey Connelly, 31, has completed her five year minimum sentence but parole chiefs have refused to set her free.

She faces at least another year behind bars over the part she played in her son Peter’s horrific death, sources said.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but Jason Owens has just had his licence revoked and been sent back to jail....

Thank you. I will take it. It may not be justice, but the more time he is behind bars, the better imo. I hope they pop him over and over and over again.

I'm resurrecting this thread again, but for bad news this time. Tracy Connolly has just been cleared for release by a parole board.

Sorry I can't find an online news source reporting it, I've just heard it on the BBC.
