I have a bad feeling they have already solved this and the wheels of Justice are in motion. Perhaps nothing but someone has posted this morning on A&S Police FB page telling the Police to go to Crew's Hole, Troopers Hill ASAP, an trying to find out what 'Crew's Hole' is, possibly something to do with making creosote in the past...

The poster seems to have a very new FB page with no details, no photos, etc. Wonder if they've made it anonymously to pass on a tip or hunch?

What could it be? It looks huge and very heavy, judging by the pictures where they're trying to move it.

A garden compost bin maybe? That would be about the right size and heavy if full of compost.

Or a water butt ?

I just can't see what could be that size and shape from inside your average house.

My money would be on a compost bin. If only half-full, it would be heavy, and would contain all sorts of kitchen waste - teabags, eggshells etc. They would need to take that away to go through the contents and examine it thoroughly. They'll want to check that nothing's been hidden in there, like the phone, tablet etc.

Re the CSI guy's twitter, I posted it because it MAY be of interest, the reason being is a reply to one of his tweets from a lady who used #FindBecky (paraphrasing hurry up and #FindBecky our kids miss their daddy too) I got the impression it may have been a fellow officers wife.

Hi Insp. Dots

Crew's Hole is area next to Trooper's Hill,

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crew's_Hole,_Bristol

https://www.google.com.au/maps/plac...1s0x48718fa5553d56a9:0x4b57e4ac859de9f4?hl=en

It runs on from Troopers Hill, which was searched previously.

Is it one of those metal drums used to burn rubbish? However, the ones we've had in the past, don't need that many people to lift them.

We used to have a burn barrel (which are exactly the same size and shape as the drum in the photos) and when they have ash in them, even less than half full, they're extremely heavy. If it's wet ash from rain water, they're even heavier. I can easily see it taking 2-4 people to lift one.

One of the captions in the article mentions it took 4 officers to lift this into the police van. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...home-missing-Rebecca-Watts.html#ixzz3T8ienda4 That tells me it's full of something very heavy. Wet ash would certainly do the trick.

And she commented on another post on their page saying she is a clairvoyant so personally, pinch of salt.

I just did a google search of "large, heavy, cylindrical drum" to see what came up, and it appears that they can also be part of a wood burning stove. Photos show a drum of a similar size to that. So maybe they had a wood burning stove in the living room?

As soon as I saw the photos of the stove components, I remembered poor April Jones. That case still haunts me.

The domestic wood burning stoves I've seen are all quite a bit smaller than that.

Yes, that's what I thought....sensed some urgency from whoever with the 'Please look ASAP' maybe nothing but just seem to stand out. Only the very minimum being reported in the media now, feel like something is imminent! MOO

thing is hes based at Bridgewater which makes more likely he'd be working the case from Glastonbury which is a murder, and bristol will probally
have it's own CSI team

I now see a ref on his twitter to working the other day with someone from the Mendip force, so I think he must definitely be on the Glastonbury case rather than Becky's.

They've already been there https://twitter.com/itvwestcountry/status/570935258960535552 so why would someone be so insistent, just a few hours ago, and post that they go back and specifically mention Crews Hole? (and yes, the FB page was likely created just to share that info - but why do it publicly?)

Police say search for #beckywatts confined to a 2km radius of her home in St George

That doesn't take into account searches relating to her mobile phone operator, isp and social media profiles #BeckyWatts

#beckywatts mobile phone, laptop and tablet maybe missing but that won't stop detectives from finding out data from them.

O/T Good luck in the COC final Rach, I'll be rooting for the spuds ;)

Some people just like attention.

Definitely. I remember following the Chris Brahney case (young guy who died after Stone Roses concert) and so many people had tips and "visions" of where should be searched. They seemed to like the attention they were getting on facebook, and none of their tips proved to be correct.

One thing that stands out to me from facebook pages is that various family members have posted messages of thanks, support etc in last 24 hours and linked other family member names to the messages, but I can't see any that have linked rw's brother in any of them!

If I were to go missing along with my devices, it would be SO easy for anyone to log in to my ISP and check to see if there was any activity on any of them, and from where, after the time I went missing. Not to mention all my google activity is synced across all devices so no matter if I use my phone, desktop, laptop or tablet, I (and LE, were the need to arise) can access my own activity (and view it) from any device.

I would think this would have already been done by now. If she were my daughter, I'd have done it the day she didn't come home (but then again, I have access to all my kid's accounts since I'm the one who pays the bills, lol). I would have known exactly what activity was on which device, and the last known physical location of the device.
