Yes she supposedly put up a fight but iirc no finger nails were broken...kind of contradicts itself.

If there were only bruises on one arm then I would assume it was because she maybe had the other one pinned under her? If one were handcuffed then surely there would be cuff marks?
I posted links up thread that forensic examiner testified about injuries to left hand and left arm. Another I didn't link but read, expert testified to injuries on left elbow as well.
He brought the handcuffs to the home in his "rape kit/bag." Handcuffs were also removed with other evidence & placed into the shed. Good possibility that either one hand was able to be cuffed or struggle ensued (and may have never been able to cuff her) during attempt to handcuff her.
This may have been their "practice" run re Kidnapping Plan. Poss thought this would be easier (the first time) than snatching a teen stranger or luring a young teen into their clutches
So Nathan was able to attempt to subdue Becky during a very quick struggle, suffocate her, remove duvet cover from bedding, grab her makeup bag & accessories, her coat and w/e other clothing, her other belongings (laptop, cell phone), do a little cleanup of her room, readjust any furniture, shelving, etc and bring her down the stairs & place her body and everything else into the trunk of his auto ALONE...all that, when?? During the 15-20 min that Shauna was smoking a cigarette, child feeding the rabbits and then washing and washing and washing her hands in the kitchen?
Does anyone know if they phoned before they went round that morning? I seem to remember reading something that said they did because I remember thinking that Becky would have been expecting them.
Hoare, who was sitting in a chair next to a round table, told the two officers that she and Matthews Becky's stepbrother went to the teenager's home in Crown Hill, St George, Bristol on the morning of February 19.
The jury at Bristol Crown Court watched Hoare explain that they were planning on returning a cake tin to Matthews' grandmother Margaret because she was taking his mother Anjie Galsworthy to a hospital appointment.
She explained that Matthews who admits killing Becky but denies her murder - had first telephoned his mother to see if Becky would be home to let them in or whether she could leave a spare key outside under a bin.
I found the last sentence very informative. "Specialist forensic investigations" then she gets charged with murder too 4 months or so later.
I think they have some very damning evidence against this couple still to come. imo.
st forensic examinations to help establish the full circumstances surrounding Becky's death.[/I][/B]

And would have left a nasty mark on others when she fought back...wonder if they were her real nails or acrylics they are rock hard
Something that's puzzling me. I agree it's a stretch to believe SH didnt hear the circular saw (unless she has hearing difficulties or was heavily medicated with sleeping tablets) but how did the neighbours not hear it either? And with them describing SH and NM as very quiet usually, surely they'd notice the sound of a circular saw.
for a start he would have needed to get the boot (trunk) open because he wouldn't be able to do that while holding Becky. So it must be several trips back and forth.
I think this could refer to the analysis and data recovery from the phones, in which case we might have heard all that we will do with respect to Matthews and Hoare.
I've been wondering this too! How did the neighbours not hear?! Circular saws are horribly loud and piercing.

I would think ( hope ) that there has to be more. I don't see how they could increase SHs charge to murder based only on those phone exchanges. Vile as they were, it does not prove she was in the room and/or assisting when Becky was killed.
