Three people have been charged with the murder of 10-year-old Sara after her body was found at her home address in #Woking on 10 August.

They have also been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.

It sounds like no one has confessed or grassed on the main perpetrator of the "incident". So the police have enough evidence to charge them all?

Or were they all definitely involved and not just standing by or ignoring what was going on?

This gets worse.

I think either this means they were all blaming each other OR they could all have said no comment but the evidence so far places them all living with her and not intervening. We often see this with parent couples here - one of them has to have done it, no one is owning up so they both get charged with murder and causing or allowing the death of a child.
Sentences were revised in January ‘22 so causing or allowing the death of a child now has a maximum life sentence rather than 14 years. Child cruelty offences: Updated sentencing guidelines published – Sentencing

(I think this was to prevent both parties ending up with a lesser sentence because the jury were unable to ascertain which one struck the fatal blow hence both of them getting the lesser sentence of ‘causing or allowing….’).

I bet these cowardly criminals are blaming one another.

Just like in Logan M case.
They all (mother, stepfather, stepson) had exactly the same charges if I remember correctly.

After all they ALL lived in a house where Sara was being tortured and eventually murdered, weren't they?? :mad:

I think you are right. Or there is indisputable evidence that all three were involved that they haven't been able to deny. It's a very short time from arrest to being charged, and the police haven't had to ask for an extension. MOO

"The family are reportedly travelled in style back to the UK, with a relative paying out £4,000 to fly back to the UK. They were said to have flown economy from Sialkot, eastern Pakistan, on Wednesday morning, to Dubai. From there, they took a connecting business class flight to London.

Burhan Ali from Bin Adam Travels told The Telegraph that at midday on Saturday a man in his mid-30s named Safeer Malik came into the office to buy tickets. He added: “He said he wanted three tickets for his brothers and sister-in-law. He offered [to] pay in Sterling but I said we only deal in Pakistani rupees so after half an hour he came with 1,500,000 RS (£4,000) and I booked the tickets.”

I am shocked too. I don’t know why really, i just thought someone was involved very little or not at all out of uncle and father.

I also thought this. Perverting the cause of justice, Concealing a body or failing to report the death of a child. I’m not sure of the correct terms for these charges? So please don’t BM!

I'd hazard a guess that the 'brother' was closely allied with the British High Commission Likewise there would have been several 'passengers' on the flights who might not have just been 'going on holiday'. The returning fugitives would have been perfectly aware of this. However, as there is no extradition agreement, and the three were (of course) returning of their 'own free will', there would have been no outward sign of escorts or security. But, believe me - it was there. The BHC diplomats have been working VERY hard ... MOO.

I think they charged all 3, just like they charged all 3 family members with the death of that sweet little boy, in the UK, found in the creek in his pyjamas, in the middle of the night---and the stepfather and stepbrother had dumped him there. His mother was charged too because all 3 knew he was badly injured and none of them called for help.

I think this is a similar situation. Any one of the three could have called an ambulance. :mad::(
 
Ultimately, there's three adults who lived in the house and willingly (it seems) left a deceased child behind and fled the country. They either all contributed to her death, or the police don't know (yet) which of them actually killed her but, as above, there's plenty enough to charge all three and figure out the details later. I lean towards the later considering no specific cause of death has been established yet.

It's thanks to Pakistan authorities for the figurative chokehold they put them in, and the family for not supporting them, that they're now back in the UK. IMO.
