This suggests either a tip off or they had solid CCTV all the time and tracked where the car or his phone went after he was a POI. It doesn’t suggest he confessed and led them to it. But maybe raises the question why it took 5 days

Yes I agree it is very strange how suddenly they appeared to know everything however I do think they withheld a lot of information to see if WC would trip up and lead them to the body etc. I still don’t understand how the flat in poynders road is involved but no doubt it’ll come out soon. “Human remains” being used makes me very very sad, I just hope it was over quickly for her. Like many others it would not surprise me if there was more than one, sadly.

So his vehicle was caught on a motorist's dashcam, confirming what many of us suspected that his vehicle was seen nearby that night. He worked a shift in that area that day, which might be why he was around.

His wife is formally named here now.

It is suspected that he did use his position of power to lure her into his vehicle (!!!) and there was no prior relationship between the two.

Lots of confirmations here of things we've speculated about over the dozens of threads thus far.

I really suspect that The Sun reporter has got all of his information from websleuths!!!

My theory is he may have held sarah in his family business garage . Either dead or still alive. He would possibly have had tools at his disposal, oil or other chemicals from the business to try and destroy her body. I really hope this was all over quickly for Sarah.

Good theory.
Possibly speeding down to Dover on his bike, back and forth?
Perhaps that's why LE took the motorbike to match soil on tyres?

Questions/speculation/opinion
WC hires a car to commit this offence, undeniable premeditation, it also raises the question of his wife’s involvement. How does one justify needing a hire car? (I believe most hire cars are fitted with tracking devices to make sure they’re not taken out of the country? Can anyone verify?)
The searches seem intense, continuing even after human remains were discovered. Does WC have a history of renting cars? (Dates etc. could help police in tying to other mis pers)

Like a few other people who I’ve seen posting, I’ve been following these threads since yesterday. Echoing what someone else said, it’s been positive to see a high level of respect and sensitivity in posts and people actively moderating.
This is unbelievably devastating for everyone who knew and loved SE and I’ve been thinking of everyone all week, as I know so many people have.

Cops moved in on married dad-of-two PC Couzens after a car linked to him was allegedly spotted on a motorist’s dashcam near to where Sarah was last seen on the night of Wednesday March 3.

This is exactly how I thought he would be identified. Same as Levi Belfield.

One possible and admittedly speculative idea is that WC may have a further digital footprint in the pick up artist community. We know what PUAs think of women and what they think of Eastern Europe and Eastern European women, look at RooshV and some of the absolute creeps on those forums. They were/are known to frequent Ukraine and other Post Soviet cities to prey on easily influenced and often desperate and impoverished women due to their increased clout, relative wealth and 'Western' positions of power (for want of a better term) where they would push their luck.

WC clearly has a predatory and negative attitude towards women <modsnip: Discussing non POI/suspect> and the general concensus on here is that predators slowly escalate their vile acts, starting out more mildly, perhaps merely being forceful and coercive with women, but not outright sexually assaulting or worse. Is it possible that he started out on PUA forums many years ago?

if she was kept alive before he killed her he would have had to retrain her and keep her quiet It's horrific just thinking about it can not imagine the hell she would gone through

A source said last night: “The working hypothesis is that he saw Sarah on the street for the first time and kidnapped her.
