I believe you're thinking of the case of Michael Edge, rather than Brian Edge. There's some info online if you Google, but mostly in articles written about the Fred case.

We are talking about the same person, the milkman, but his name was not Michael, it was Brian Anthony (at least according to Posner's book), I believe Michael was his brother

That's odd. He's referred to as Michael Edge in so many articles. Wonder how that mix-up happened.
