I'm surprised there wasn't more about that. Or maybe there was and I missed it. If she had such a combo of drugs in her system, when would she have become comatose?

I'd think the defense will be quick with this witness. "Regardless of what you added later that COULD have happened, it's still POSSIBLE that her death could have been accidental as the original ME stated, correct?" Do they really need to cover much of anything other than that?

With Alexis' testimony we learned that Michele was sensitive to medications. IMO that means that even a small amount of a narcotic would make her sleepy. With the mixture of drugs that Michele had in her system, I doubt that it took more than and hour/hour and a half for her to be out of it.

We also learned during Ada's taped interview that she and Martin walked home from school the day Michele died. If this is true then that would mean that Martin went home to drop off his car before picking up Ada. IMO Martin went into the house to make sure Michele was dead, she was not so he put her in the tub and held her head under water drowning her. Martin then left to get Ada, knowing that Michele was now dead.

HLN has just now finished with the testimony of Alexis.
I would like to thank everyone for the excellent updates that were posted.
BTW I think Alexis did great!

:seeya: :loveyou:

Your hln is ahead of mine!

I've not read everything on this case, but would't drowning be a cause of death if MM held her underwater?

That's possible, but she could have drowned without him present. The drugs she had on board would definitely serve to depress or slow down respirations to a point that someone would have to be present with Michele to stimulate her to breathe (this is very common in recovery room post op). If her respiratory drive were depressed to the point that she was breathing less often than needed, a build up of carbon dioxide would begin to cause havoc with her brain and heart causing death. (an increase of carbon dioxide stimulates respirations, but CNS depressant drugs suppresses this stimulus, i.e., the brain is on vacation!) It would have also been easier for someone to hold Michele's head in the water with no resistance from Michele, considering the types. and number of drugs she had in her system.

I was distracted from the last of the Doc's testimony. I guess what I am asking did he say Phenergan was in her system? I thought that was dispensed as a supp??? Sorry I was having a panic moment. My Glamdoggy was way over due from hunting in the field. She is in training. Me being her GlamMother panicked when she was late. It's all good.

Wonder if MM would normally take his car to get Ada and chose to walk that day as a way to calm himself and buy some time?

Yes phenergan was in her system. It was in suppository form and is absorbed by the mucosa of the GI system into the blood stream.

Considering how his bad toe hampered him most would think he would drive LOL

Martin did not receive his award until 11:15. Then after the award he stopped to have his picture taken (alibi IMO). Ada was due to be released from school at 11:30. I believe there was talk that Ada was actually picked up a little late from school. Ada also said during her taped interview that usually when her mom picked her up from school they would go to McDonalds for Ada to get some lunch. Based on the McDonalds thing I would say that Ada was typically picked up in a car.

Wonder if any of the jurors have a medical/related background? As an RN, I would have become very highly suspicious of the disposal of the drugs. Or I should say, that would be the last nail in MM's coffin for me. This is such a transparent act for those who can see through the haze that surrounds MM.

The LOVEBIRDS :phone::overreaction:

stealing of his daughter's Id?
Or did I miss the proof they did that?
I have missed some testimony.
Oh and
watching it on HLN?
:snail:
not unless I am in the mood for tons of commercials and tons of breaks..
:judge::bricks:

I've been peeking in on this case - does anyone have a link to a timeline? TIA!

I seen a number of posters say that they walked from Ada's school but my understanding of what Ada said was different. I got the impression she was referring to walking up to the house say from the car?

Wow just Wow. I didn't think that drug given how it was dispensed???? So Martin actually went that far to cover his azz to actually put a sup up Michelle's rectum. Jaysuz :banghead: Minor4th weigh in on that one. We didn't think it was present.

For anyone that may have missed the trial, or parts of it, so far for today I am posting the youtube postings for today.
