It causes defatting to the skin which means it is probably caustic and turning the oil into soap on your skin so it might destroy DNA.

Great Find Doc! How ironic is it that this company that Josh's dad works for apparently sells items that inmates manufacture? Wonder if/when Josh is arrested and convicted (I know that he is innocent until proven guilty..but that's ONLY in a court of law! :snooty:) down the road, if that would affect his dad's job in any way? ..Very Interesting..TY!

From the song stylings of Steve Chantrey/SP...

I Said, I Love You

snipped

I said, "I love you." Is that a crime?
And what if I say it to you one more time?
I love you, so put me in jail.
I said, "I love you." I couldn't help it.
And you were mistaken if you thought I'd shelf it.
I love you, so cough up my bail.

is this a love song?

LOL! Shelf it??? Really? We could spend a lot of time with this cr@p.

Grandma To 4
That was a great post and I think you said what many of us are thinking. I have wondered the same thing. It seemed as if the church meant a lot to her and the only ones I see helping in any sense is when they helped Josh. Strange indeed....

Thank you, teacher 3. It's waaay beyond strange!

I've been reading everything I can find about the Susan Powell *missing person* case. I have yet to find one single negative statement about Susan.

Everyone says she was a hardworking, loving and devoted wife/mother and church member.

Can you imagine being a mother of toddlers, the full time bread winner of the family and being told what groceries you could buy, what you could and could not eat -- and then being also told you were NOT allowed to use the home computers?

Joshua's media interviews regarding his supposed midnight camping-trip-alibi in below freezing blizzard conditions with two toddlers was a pathetic joke.

It's been stated that THAT ALIBI will go down in history as the worst, dumbest murder alibi ever concocted.

Why would anyone support Josh when he refuses ALL cooperation with law enforcement regarding his missing wife -- a women everyone seemed to respect and admire?

Why would church members support Josh when it was Susan, NOT Josh who was the devoted and dedicated ward member?

Something really stinks and it makes me both sad and angry!

Susan need someone to find her - now!

Ironic, true. However, of course, he would be tried in Utah. So Josh would be punished in Utah.

Doubtful that the inmates make bullets. If I recall correctly, the death penalty in Utah is by lethal injection or firing squad.

Hmm, research ! Thanks ! This gets me, re: efforts. In the latest vid, Susan's friend is being interviewed in front of a large background pic. Is it her neighborhood? Is it Susan? Is it Susan's family? Is it her husband? No, if my eyes are correct, it is not. Gotta go errand, BB

Wasn't it Will Ferrell on SNL that did a skit with a lady and he was playing a little portable piano?

God forbid!

My brother, when he was 14, wrote a song.

Travelin' Man
From the West
Come to tell you I'm the best
Come to show you how to fight
So you can stay overnight.

You have no idea how many years of crap he's gotten over that. Fortunately, my brain is a steel trap when it comes to this stuff. I wouldn't forget it for all the world. I remind him fairly often. It keeps him grounded.

In his defense, he was 14. You're supposed to do things like write horrible songs when you're 14, and full of testosterone.

When you're fifty-something, not so much. :)

My favorite.

You made my eyes pop out of their sockets.
You could empty all my pockets.

I hate to be mean. But you combine Dad's songwriting skills with Josh's website-building skills, and - well, we all win.

So who was the first one to make contact with JP that day and exactly how far out was he from WVC?

From what I understand, Jovonna, Kiirsi and many others tried getting ahold of Josh throughout the day once they found out they were all "missing" and something was wrong...but Jovonna is the first one who finally got through when Josh finally picked up the phone that afternoon.

I have no idea how far out from West Valley City he was. I have speculated on why it took him 2 WHOLE HOURS to get home from when he got the call that Susan was "missing".

I think he either was pretty close and just took his time driving home because he was scared and was trying to get himself together before having to face the police knowing what he had just done...OR...he was far enough away that it really took him 2 hours just to get back. If that is the case, it is possible he was still on his way back from wherever he went/took her and was just trying to get back before it got too late. Coming back from an area that he really did take her on his own, or coming back from the direction of meeting daddy halfway to Washington.

Those are just my own personal thoughts on the matter. I don't think anyone really does know where he was when he finally answered the phone that afternoon.

OMG, you missed your calling! .keep practicing Doc and one day..one day you too could sound like SP aka SC!
:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

What makes it so funny is that he really thinks he is good! :boohoo:

I'm telling ya, I am hearing the Twilight Zone theme song playing over and over again in my head..but then again, that could just be a personal problem, lol!..

hey, if his lyrics sounded anywhere near that good, I would sit here and keep my mouth shut..or at least my fingers off the keyboard anyway!

Whoa... I know I'm in Bizarroworld now. I see it's the same PMktg and it would seem to fit in an eerie pathological kinda way but is there anything which can really confirm that this is JP's dad--and not simply SC? Unfortunately there's nothing even about children eg in the bio part IIRC. Weird, like stuck in a time warp as if nothing's happened more recently--like in the past 40+ years or so...?! Talk about self-absorbed, eeesh :sheesh:

It is a guaranteed fact that this is Steven Powell under a different name. Someone who knows him extremely well and is related to him confirmed this and passed the site on to us.

I think it would be incorrect to say "church members support Josh." Out of hundreds in the ward, only 20 people showed up. I think MOST church members and MOST of Utah feels exactly the same way we do. Some of the people who showed up to help also think he is guilty but went for other reasons--perhaps to make sure Susans things were treated with respect and not tossed away or to keep their eyes and ears open for clues.

I'm in NC and we have a similar set-up with our Department of Corrections. They sell to other state agencies, supposedly at a lower cost (not always). In NC they have a monopoly going - don't know about WA.

Anyway, if JP's dad does work for the WA Department of Corrections, it appears he doesn't make enough from his state salary to live in a gated community. Wonder where his other source comes from.

Looks like somewhere along the way he got promoted from a specialist I to a specialist II.
