Speculation - If it is RAT, he used to be a repo man (may still be one). He would have been all up and down 29, up to and probably including Fairfax. He would have also had a means to command a woman's attention if he was driving a tow truck, and they probably would have pulled over/listened if he told them their car was messed up.

I'm thinking of and sending positive vibes to not just the family of Alexis, but to the families of the missing and unsolved murder victims in the area. They're surely watching this closely and wondering their missing loved one's case might be connected to this man, just as we are, and hoping for answers. Sending love and light to the Murphys, the families of Samantha Clarke, Lauren Smith, Morgan Harrington & other families of the missing/murdered women in the area. I hope they get answers.

I believe so too. If this is the case, hopefully he stops being a coward and gives the FBI the info they need to bring families closure.

A witness, Dennis Simpson, tells CBS19 he saw about 15 FBI agents and police officers swarm a house right across the street from Cannery Loop off of Rt. 29 in Nelson County with dogs at around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. Simpson lives right across the street from the house could not see the person but saw officers and dogs arrive and immediately run up the driveway. Simpson says in waves, agents came back to their cars in the street holding items with blue gloves on and taking photographs.

Yeah, this poor kid has his first day back to school in a few hours. Hopefully when he shows up, the kids will realize it isn't him. I guess I should say that I hope he isn't scared and that he decides to go so he can put it to rest with a quickness.

Just a thought -- if he is a repo man, the whole 'moving her car' piece of this just got a bit easier to explain. I could see him either towing it to the location (if he still has access to a tow truck) or else acting like it was a repo and having a friend pick him up from the location. I haven't worked all of the details out yet in my head, but something along those lines might have made it more plausible. In that case, an unwitting accessory to the crime may make sense.

One more thing...after reading that Hook article, I took a look at the court records for him in the county that was named in the article. It looks like they did go after him hard after Samantha's disappearance -- nearly a full page of charges in a very short time frame.

Last, but not least...someone earlier mentioned looking up cases. Even if they have booked him and plan to arraign him tomorrow, it probably won't show up until Monday morning at the earliest. I'm a teacher, but in the summer I help my sister who is an attorney with some secretarial type stuff. One of the things I have to do is to handle the continuances for some of her cases. They have to be manually put into the system by the clerk's office -- during regular business hours. I have faxed continuances over in the afternoon and they have not shown up until the next morning. Don't forget that these are small town, rural counties -- small staff in the offices in the courthouses, so things won't always show up immediately.

I believe that tomorrow may be the first day back to school for kids in that part of the state. I think that if the kids realize he's at school, though, that they will put two and two together and see that he is NOT the guy who has been charged. Kids don't always think things through, though.

I'm going to say a little prayer for young RT, as well. I have a hunch he'll need it.

Mainly locations of where he lived and the proximity to the victims. 2 of the 4 have similar MOs (last seen at gas station, one of which he has been arrested for - Alexis), and another one has him directly linked as a suspect via LE (Samantha). The only one that is pure speculation is Morgan.

Not insisting that he is responsible for all of these, of course, just pondering the possibility that he very well could be.

Investigators believe Cassandra Morton’s body had been there for more than a month."

Very. And we should probably stop talking about the father and son since we can now put neck tat cat in the immediate area. I'd hate for someone to go after one of them due to potential misinformation from reading here. Son probably has to go to school tomorrow.

and from looking at RT the dad's FB.. looks like he recently lost his mom, and is about to lose his dad to lung cancer... which in turn means RT the son losing both grandparents, on top of his friend Lexi being missing, on top of another class mate who drowned about a month ago... and has to start school in 4 hours.... not a good year for this kid...

I did the same to both the commenter personally, as a reply on the comment, and as a message to the page admin, and also posted a standalone shoutout on my own personal newsfeed just saying, hey friends... Ive noticed such and such and yall need to think first, etc.... but a tiny bit more eloquently..
