How do we know she was wearing Uggs? I couldn't read that in the redacted report and I don't remember we ever heard from JH what she had on that morning, or from WH when he "met her at the gas station."

Someone probably already answered but... way back in one of the first threads, a local who is also a WS member was part of one of the very first organized search parties. She was told by the person in charge, what AJ was last known to be wearing, and what to look for. Pink top, black leggings, ugg type boots, black iphone 5 case and white headband. I can't remember now if the jacket was mentioned or not, but those were the other clothing/possession items.

But now that I think about it (hindsight = 20/20 & all that business) I don't know who lead/organized that search and/or if that was legit, or more deception about what she was last seen in. God knows there's been plenty of deception in this case.

Just because I'm nitpicky, the only time tazer was ever mentioned was in the general category of guns/ammo/weapons that cannot be found in the possession of a convicted felon. It didn't actually say WH had one, it just listed them in the category. What he had and was charged with was the 9mm ammo.

Thanks for the correction! I couldn't recall where I'd heard that.

Such a coincidence that no new evidence has been found "recently." IYKWIM

Thank you for stating this, because I'm bad about this. Please know that if I were close, I would be out there putting up flyers and my kids and I would be out there searching for AJ.

Me, hubby and our kids would be too. The best a lot of us NOT local can do is provide fresh eyes on known facts/statements and rip them to pieces until things make sense. That, and be a long distance support for family and loved ones genuinely looking for answers. (((( Zach & girls, Brenchen & hubby )))) hang in there... we're all here for all of you. No matter what. (Even if some of us are smart-alecs sometimes)

Let's say for example, I shoot a raccoon with a 22 rifle and I no longer have the 22 rifle that I used to shoot the raccoon but I have the box of ammo that I took the bullet out of to shoot the raccoon and LE finds that raccoon with the bullet in it, can LE/ballistics match that bullet to the box of ammo that I still have in my possession?? I tried to Google for an answer but was unsuccessful in getting an answer to my questions.

Short answer...no.

Wait, wait, wait! A number of messages from Anjelica's phone were received by her mom's phone between 3 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3rd - not believed to be from Anjelica.

WHEN was she reported missing??? >>>> Tuesday after 9 p.m. (Shaking my head) And she was supposedly last *seen* on Monday morning at 7-7:30 a.m. ??? Am I reading this right??!! So, by the time the missing persons report was filed, she hadn't been *seen* for approximately 38 hours (give or take), coupled with text messages received by her mom's phone, not believed to be from Anjelica, for a period of 13 hours (give or take), to then report her missing for 17 hours after that??!! I guess not filing a missing persons report for 38 hours isn't in itself disturbing, BUT that coupled with 13 hours or so of receiving text messages - not believed to be from Anjelica - might have made a person a little more concerned for her safety, wouldn't it??
While these text messages were being received - not believed to be from Anjelica - did anyone try CALLING her phone I wonder? I guess cell phone records can prove whether they did or not.

You all have done such a wonderful job working so hard on the MPR today. Kudos- missed it all bc of work. Glad to see TES in the mix, hope they can bring answers. See ya all tomorrow.

guys, having very bad feelings every day without any info. really starting to affect me. may be taking breaks from here periodically.

This case has been an emotional roller coaster for all of us. We all love AJ and want her home, but there does come a time when one needs to take a step back and re-group. Take all the time you need sweetie.

I curious of how they would know her credit card was missing?

Great question. I suspect it was your classic check/debit card (not actually a credit card) that she normally had with her in the card holder of her cell case. Lots of people use those (card holder/phone cases) and keep photo ID and 1 credit/debit card in it (most of those kinds of cases only hold 2 cards max anyway). Assuming JH looked around the room or the area where AJ was sleeping while home on break, she noticed her phone was not there, and *assumed* her ID and debit card were gone as well.

That being said, I'm projecting what I would do if I were the mom here. First thing is look for her exterior vital organs (phone, tablet, lappy) that she can't live without like most teens and if they're not around, list them on the report.

I don't know that that's any more than we already knew. We knew there was a text exchange between a sister and AJ right after school, so around 2:45-3pm. We have all speculated whether that was AJ or not. And we know there was a text conversation between AJ and her mom, culminating in a "not ready to come home yet" text at either 4:30AM or 5:30AM. We don't know when that convo started, if it occurred sporadically over that whole period, or just a burst at the end.

Personally, if I thought my daughter wasn't on the other end of the phone, I would do everything in my power as quickly as possible to verify. JH apparently either didn't feel that strongly at the time, or thought she was okay anyway. I mean, she still thinks she's safe.

No, what I mean is would they be able to identify a spent/shot bullet came out of a specific batch of ammo that hasn't been shot (out of the same box)??

Not to the best of my knowledge, no. But let's say that they could. Ammo is produced in huge batches. There could well be 20 people on that street with the same ammo from the same batch. See what I mean? Prove it came from a gun WH doesn't even have? Not gonna happen.

And...most of us have been glued to our computers reading, searching, decyphering, reviewing, typing, etc. for weeks with respect to this case. One definitely starts to get alittle punch drunk after awhile.

Boom. I haven't even really been able to work for the last few weeks. This girl has my attention all day. All y'all don't even want to know when the last time it was I high/low dusted or mopped the foyer. Thankfully my family not only understands, they even know who AJ is AND why it's so important we find her and get her to a safe place.

They could determine that it's the manufacture of ammo, but that doesn't do a lot of good if you can't determine/prove whose gun shot the ammo. :(

So if the gun was used to commit a crime, and as long as LE does NOT find the gun, WH having the ammo in his possession for it really causes him no worries in regards to IF he used the gun to commit a crime (other than being a felon in possession of the ammo).

Exactly what went through my head. Why do they hate that kid so much?

From the outside looking in, I'm not sure THEY do. I get the hinky feeling WH didn't like the attention he was showing to AJ and once he (WH) made his feelings known to others, on how he felt about that, they latched onto it because... Wes. I think there are some young men connected to this case that both fear and admire him (because he's Mr. Badass, or something, been to prison, probably talks a good talk, blah blah, and blah) and/or benefit from his extra-curricular activity in the the coke business.

Basically, sycophants. Yes I know that sounds mean and stuff but when you're young, stuff looks different than when you're not.

moo.

My husband has been a real trooper in that respect. He only got dinner once this week, my house is a pig sty, I sent him to work this morning without a clean pair of socks, and I have 2 cat boxes that reek to high heaven. All he's said to me is, "Honey, you need to get some sleep."

Even tonight, over dinner and drinks, I was thinking about that damned MP report.

(SIGH)

Thanks for the correction! I couldn't recall where I'd heard that.

To be honest, tons of details are beginning to get blurry for me too :( WAY too many changes to the story on this case. I've honestly never followed one like this and I'm trying super hard to keep it all straight.

I curious of how they would know her credit card was missing?

i was just wondering the same thing myself. Also, if my mom was asked what was in my purse --- it would be more random and less specific. For example, she knows i always have pepper spray and a knife, but these are not essential items that I rant and rave about finding before i leave (like my credit card, drivers license, certain make-up, sunglasses, etc) that would instantly pop into my moms head as something I left with (or is missing with me). Just sprung me as a little specific IMO

BUT....LE could have specifically asked if a credit card was missing or if she carried any weapons which would trigger JH to think about these things more specifically than just a generic thought--- so hard to tell in this case w/ the lack of official information.
