I was watching the Sal's video. When JM is cutting through the patio and HG walks by it looks like JM may have raised his right arm waving at her but she doesn't notice him cause she appears to be looking straight the whole time.

One thing I wonder is did they know each other. My mind keeps going back and forth about this.

I do not think she knew him I think he did that to get her attention!

bbm Jesse did talk to them, they/Longo wants to talk to him AGAIN. Since he has spoken to them/him once and Longo has acted the way he has since, I would NOT talk to him again. jmo idk

Chief Longo on CNN just now...stated the items in the 2nd search warrant executed yesterday on the apt was related to "some articles of clothing".

The guest wasn't exactly clear in his explanation when I heard this....but it would be likely that the mud allowed them to get a warrant for the CAR....then other items inside the car allowed them to get a warrant for the apartment. This would fit exactly with what has already been stated a number of times by LE and news media.

I have serious, serious doubts that mud on a car is compelling enough for a judge to sign off on a search warrant. I think they saw something IN that car that they believed belonged to H. Graham. Maybe numerous items.

J. Matthews shot himself in the foot when he apparently told the cops that he was hanging out with her, but she never got into his vehicle.

I think that is when Longo went into overdrive mode to find SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, that could put Heather INSIDE Matthew's vehicle.

That would be a complete contradiction of what he told them early on.

I'm sure Hannah's friends have spoken to LE. My guess is they had their family lawyers with them and they are smart enough to stay out of the media.

I dont agree with this one bit and I'm not going to be made to feel guilty for being white since its something thats 100 percent out of my control to start with.

I will say that the personas we cultivate have a lot to do with how society views and treats us and that goes for everyone...... regardless of race, color or creed.

That being said, I dont believe that race belongs in this discussion at all. This should be about Hannah, helping to find her and if she is dead, helping to bring her killer to justice. Please leave your outside agendas at home or in another thread.

It doesnt matter if the POI is black, white, latino or any other ethnicity. Their race shouldnt excuse their actions....if you stop to think about it isnt that intrinsically racist to start with?

All that SHOULD matter is that a lovely 18 year old girl with her whole life ahead of her is missing and the likelihood of her being found dead increases with each passing day.

My sympathies lie firmly with the "victim" here. IMO bad guys and those suspected of being bad guys, neither warrant nor deserve our compassion....... unless they are later shown to be innocent and I just dont see that happening in JLMs case.

Thats based on his actions, not the color of his skin. Its not about black versus white, or any other ethnicity for that matter.

Its about good versus evil.Right versus wrong. & Life versus death

I think this is a misunderstanding of the views of people who have posted nuanced thoughts about numerous elements of this case. All of this thread and the others before it are about finding Hannah. But denying the reality of the world we live in and the societal and individual actions that may have influenced the situation isn't particularly productive, IMHO.

I don't believe it is confirmed that HE told them that he was hanging out with her. I thought that came out only from his grandmother in the DM article. Regardless, the info is out there now.

I don't think Longo or LE ar focused on Hannah Graham at all. They are after bigger fish. They should have grabbed the whole lot of them at the apt and questioned them. There was a chance Hannah was still alive then, hurt, in a ditch, buit possibly alive. The focus was on the car, not on the videos. LE does not circulate things like this to public if valuable evidence. These are just bones they threw out for us to gnaw on. You can't see jack on those videos, there are mistakes all over the place about them even on national TV and no way you can id anyone definitely from just the video. All red herrings. They were not concerned that night about nabbing anyone who might have info about Hannah, just nabbing the car. They are all waiting on getting that car back.

The aggressiveness with which they've gone after JM with that wanted poster that has inflammatory info about OTHER crimes is a sign IMO that LE is not after Hannah's abductor as much as other things. I hope that if Hannah is found, she is still alive and that if she is not, she did not die while LE was more focused on the car than on people who might have info on her. THis has not been about Hannah for Longo for all of his choked up public emotion he is showing.

Ironic that on this forum, moderators have made a special effort to keep this all about Hannah but LE is not.

I hope the car has the info that Longo wants, but more important is whether it can lead to Hannah. There should have been some more overtures made to get info on her. I would be furious at LE if I were Hannah's parents. The focus of their investigation has not been about her.

I agree that it was likely not JUST the mud that allowed the initial warrant for the car. The post was just an attempt to explain what the cable news "insider" was implying in the report, and how that might relate to previously reported information.

Where can Jesse be? He can't use credit cards, so any purchase must be in cash, which he doesn't have much. He doesn't seem to be the wilderness survivalist type. So he has to be in someone's home.

Agreed! I completely freaked out when reading those posts, I have been out for about 5 hours and have just returned to the thread so I thought they were posts from today saying JLM has been cleared. Very confusing indeed....
