I can't imagine he changed his shirt. As inappropriately as he was acting it seems to me how he appeared to others was the last thing on his mind.

With HG being falling-down drunk, JM might have taken her back to his apartment. If she woke up later and freaked out, JM may have done something to her at that time. She didn't get reported missing for almost 40 hours, and a lot could have happened in that time period. JMO

What about the roommates? Weren't there three people there when they served the initial search warrant?

He could have "followed" them to Tempo by taking his car. He knew they were going there, even though they did not invite them to come along. Also, I do think LE went back for the checkered shirt and the maroon T-Shirt once they saw the photos and had a clear picture of what he was wearing that night as they could not tell for sure in the video's.

Made me think it was the t shirt (maroon) that they wanted. Like not saying what color if any undies she had on, how would one know what color if any undies she had on?

Just a thought here, but has it been theorized that maybe JLM was black out drunk at the end of the night? Is it possible that he did something horrible but does not remember it? It sure seems like he was drunk earlier in the evening from reports of his behavior. And he's still ordering drinks after 1AM.

he's a big dude, so it would take a lot to black him out. also, it sounds as if his inappropriate actions weren't abnormal for him, thus not due to being drunk. he was often inappropriate with women according to the Johnson guy.

As far as I know, LE has not released any information about the roommates, whether they were at the apartment that night, what they told police, etc.

Even if someone goes with someone else willingly, if the person then is held against their will, i.e. depriving them of their liberty, that still can qualify as abduction. Not a lawyer, but that is my understanding.

she was stumbling in the videos. she wasn't holding up the upper portion of her body very well. in no way am i defending this guy. i think he's guilty, but i don't think he needed to drug her. alcohol just sneaks up like that. one minute you are at a 20 year class reunion dancing and holding normal conversations the next minute you are sitting outside with your shoes off blacking out telling your husband you refuse to walk because you can't. that was my last run in with too much to drink and not enough to eat. the black outs happens suddenly.

ITA. She appeared intoxicated and her balance seemed off in the video. She wasn't falling down drunk or hanging onto the wall and barfing but that doesn't mean she was able to make clear decisions or had actions that made any sense.

do we even know yet for sure if those roommates were still living there? i heard there were 3 people in the apartment for the first search. is that really true? if so, hopefully they can shed some light on JM's whereabouts the following days. if they have shed some light on it, police have to decided to not share it with the public. i'm just shocked as to why police are acting as if they have NO IDEA of where to look!

I could be wrong, but one of the first press conferences, I swear Longo mentioned that there were three people there when they initially served the search warrant. I'm not great at finding links and video - but I remember this pretty clearly. ( Obviously, it could be my pregnancy brain as well):thinking:

If there were people around that knew him, and there was, according to that timeline that was posted, some kind of blog. Wouldn't you think someone, anyone would have walked up to the both of them, and asked what was going on? He is known there in the Mall area, people are creeped out by him, they know how he is, supposedly, with women. This really makes me mad.

if i were her mother i would have flown to galveston and beat the doors down where they are holding that car. no. i don't think hanah is inside, but there has to be clues of some sort.

seems like orange car though would actually provide more clues as to where she could be, UNLESS he moved her body or went back to it to better hide it. seems like his shoes or socks would be muddy. unless he went the dumpster route. did they check hospital dumpsters?

The video of him purchasing the bug spray show him entering the store wearing only white socks. Perhaps he ditched his shoes?

If any of you follow twitter have you seen the vulgar, obscene tweets from any accounts? I did a search for #hannahgraham for updates and my feed has some disturbing posts. I'm assuming it's someone wanting attention and I don't know what kind of person has such a cold heart.

Yes, utterly vile and disgusting, specifically one with the name beginning with P. I blocked and reported the account the other day. I see twitter have done nothing about it though as with the #HannahGraham tag I still see people mentioning that individual.

Yes - I think when a topic is popular/hot these types of low-life losers come out of their basements and try to get noticed or cause problems. It is disturbing for sure~

Galveston County officials obtained a search warrant for Matthew's car, but waited for the Virginia authorities to arrive before executing it. Evidence from the car has been sent for processing.

He doesn't fit profile of classic, smooth sociopathic serial killers like Ted Bundy, but that doesn't mean he didn't kill, hasn't raped and done this before. Depraved indifference and disregard for human life doesn't have to include high IQ. Perhaps up till this point he has just been lucky? Jmo. I am not convinced too much either way because we won't know enough for awhile. I just dont think saying he doesn't fit the bill works for me. Maybe give FBI profilers a new category to developed for the future.

Same here. I staunchly believe in innocent until proven guilty and there is still nothing concrete imo to make me flip on him, and I will in a second if that changes. The inconsistencies bother me with things not adding up to the picture that night. And the fact that all we seemingly have is heresay.

The way I see it is she was probably buzzed from drinks earlier, but was certainly able to walk and run with no apparent problem. But, she was somewhat confused as to where she was and it was getting late, so when JM approached her she probably accepted an offer to drive her home. He said wait a minute and I'll get us a couple of beers. She waited for him while he went inside Tempo, at 1:09 he ordered the beers, got them, paid via visa at 1:10, stuffed them under his shirt and took them outside. He put something in her beer. They both drank the beers and within a half hour she was helpless. Couldn't walk. That's when Abby saw her as terribly intoxicated. (I do not recall anyone else saying that about her....did WG say that?) JM guided her to his car and the rest is a mystery. JMO

Where and when did they drink the beers tho? It doesn't look like there's outdoor seating or a drinking area outside Tempo... maybe HG did get inside Tempo and (if drugs were used) they drank their drinks and by the time they were seen leaving where he's holding her steady, the drugs kicked in... I think it's more likely she was inside Tempo between 1:09 (when he bought two drinks according to receipts) and the time they were spotted walking away up 5th street at around 1:40 am jmo...

Sigh. Yes, you are right. But one time when I made overtures when a clearly drunk woman was with some guy, the woman turned on me, snarled all kinds of names at me as well as the man. You get cautious about stepping in. The thing to do is to call security, not get involved personally. You don't know how people will react. Those who saw what was going down and felt it didn't feel right, should have privately called mall security or the police and let them determine what the issue was. I'm glad they are telling what they saw now, but had they intervened at the time, this might not have happened. You get blamed and branded as a busy body 99.999% of the time when you get involved that way, and most of us don't like that. I was spit at by that girl and called a racist, bigot, etc, when she was clearly fighting her "escort", but that was what she wanted to do without involvement of anyone else. Yes, I called security, and nothing else came of it. That's usually what happeens.

What happened here was and is common. As an earlier poster clearly pointed out, a line was breached when and if Hannah wanted to get out of the car, and JM did not permit her to do so.

Also bear in mind, he could have let her out near a cliff or something and she is lying there now. All we know for sure was that the two of them were together, likely left together in the car and that he looked like he was going to make moves on her. Everything else at this point is speculation. Likely speculation but no evidence, and I don't think Longo had any either when he released the warrents to make the attempt to get JM into custody. JM could be guilty of going only so far and not of killing or raping her. That' all still speculation.
