Franklin County woman still missing after nearly a year
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the case continues to be an active investigation.

Snipped from fhc's link:

In mid-June, Sheriff Bill Overton announced that Hodges' missing person case had become a criminal investigation. On Thursday, Maxey reiterated what Overton said then.

"We found some evidence that indicated there was a violent event related to the time she went missing," Maxey said.

and

Crystal Hodges said Heather told her about two months before she disappeared that if something happened to her, Crystal should never stop looking for her.

:(

While the forensic evidence indicates something terrible has happened - investigators are holding out hope that one day Heather will appear and tell everyone where she's been.

But whether she is found or not... investigators believe that one day this case will be solved.

"In the worst case scenario, if there is a body to be found... would we be hampered by not finding that body? That would not preclude us from finishing this investigation," said Maxey.

2). Paige Johnson, blond hair, 5′ 1″ tall and 110 lbs, 18 years old.
3). Holly Bobo, blond hair, 5′ 3″ tall and 110 lbs, 21 years old.

5). Heather Hodges, blond hair, 5′ 1″ tall and 100 lbs, 22 years old.

You are probably correct. Still it is really creepy how those missing grills all look so similar. I mean talk about a profile!

Well a lot of girls are blond. I know Holly's mom said her natural hair color was brown, so some of the others may have changed their hair color too. I get surprised by how many girls everywhere look alike.

I too don't believe these cases are connected. There are more than one sick individual that find attractive blonde girls a good target. Also short stature and petite size could be part of the attractiveness or part of making it easy to take them. Also women of this age group are more out and about alone at night also making then more likely targets.

Twenty-two-year-old Heather Hodges was reportedly last seen by her then-39-year-old boyfriend, Paul Jordan, on April 9, 2012, at their Franklin County home outside Roanoke. According to media reports, Jordan told police he went to a nearby Dairy Queen to get Hodges a snack and that when he returned home 10 minutes later, she was gone and had left her phone, purse, and toddler behind.

“We are struggling right now to keep hope alive,” said her mother, Paula Hodges.

If their relationship has been going on for 10 years, wouldn't that have put her at 12 yo when it began?

I know, of course if it was WV I might not bat an eye, but Lord, what was mom thinking????

Interesting but kind of scary.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Florida private investigator says he believes more than a dozen missing persons cases from Kentucky and surrounding states may be connected.

The faces of the young women on Bill Warner's blog are similar but behind each smile is a different family searching for answers.
