Thank you Cindizzi for the levity! I want an Alpaca as a pet ;)
Me too!
Ben Chew brings a stuffed alpaca to court everyday . Yesterday it was in his pocket when he was addressing the Judge.

This trial has placed a spotlight on a serious and pervasive crime in America; that of D.V. and S.A. Research from the CDC is very troubling:

Women
  • Nearly 1 in 5 women have experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime.
  • 1 in 3 female rape victims experienced it for the first time between 11-17 years old.
  • 1 in 8 female rape victims reported that it occurred before age 10.
Men
  • Nearly 1 in 38 men have experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime.
  • About 1 in 4 male rape victims experienced it for the first time between 11-17 years old.
  • About 1 in 4 male rape victims reported that it occurred before age 10.

If you or someone you know is a victim, they can call 24/7 for help: 1-800-656-4673

As for this particular case/trial...let the jury decide.
I think the truth emerged for all to see, and justice will prevail.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I did not think I would ever watch another trial after Arias, yet here I am. I finally gave in and have been watching this trial for only a week.
Same here. I also started watching this trial about a week or so ago and have been following everyone's posts and keeping my thoughts to myself. I see a few familiar names that followed other trials-Casey Anthony, Jody Arias. Also a few others that should of gone to trial but never did. Last time I was here I believe was in 2020 for Manfredonia which hasn't gone to trial yet. Thanks for all your posts. Does anyone know if Websleuths alerts members of when a verdict comes in. I just don't remember. Thanks again.
