I remember posting about this, so I had to search back in thread one to find my post. I speculated that surveillance cameras around the U. S. Customs office close to the mall might have picked up the car, but that's just a guess. It is a fact that surveillance would be high in the area surrounding the facility, so it's a reasonable theory. There was talk later about toll booths, but I don't know if that was confirmed, or another theory. Look around the area of my posts in Thread #1 for more on this topic.I hate for you to go to that trouble, Lisa, but a better picture/map of understanding would help us understand.

Captain Pearce says cameras were not covering the area of the mall that the stepfather says he left Katelin. He would not elaborate on how investigators confirmed the car was there...
