I hate reading into things that aren't there but the timing and the FB message (contents included) may not be coincidental.

Katie posted a lot of deep thinking kind of messages. I think she was going through something......JMO But then again who isn't.

Sadly, a comment posted to Katie's FB might shed some light on this. I don't know if I can post the link. The comment is on a pic Katie posted on May 26th. Someone is telling Katie her mom would love pics of grandkids and to pick up a phone and call her mom. This makes me think they didn't have regular, daily contact if this comment is the truth : (

That comment was made the next day, the day she was reported missing I think.

I think the service guy left something exposed when he added my neighbor's service! My wifi is back and I can see all the posts. Her last post, if posted by her, is chilling!

Even when she posted a pic to her friends of a colorful hippy looking room. 1 said i would love to have my room look like that. And Katie replied I know i was thinking of you.

But she never types in their full names to the pics she post.

The night she went missing there is a picture she posted and instead of tagging her two friends (who are on FB) she typed their names above the picture. It says xxxxxx and xxxxxxx. This would lead me to believe she doesn't know how to tag friends.

But, if you scroll down to April 5, she tags her brother in a post. So she does know how to tag.

Did someone else have access to her FB that night...someone less Facebook savvy, but who was aware of who her best friends are? And for how long could her FB been out of her control? PPD claimed from the get go that the body was severely decomposed. When was the last proven sighting of Katie???

There are many other pictures on Katie's fb page where she typed the person name above the photo. So I don't think that she didn't tag these two people has any meaning in the post you are referring to, or mean that the post was made by someone other than Katie.

I don't know how to take the saying in her very last post at 12:24 AM. It's almost like she is telling her two friends that even if they never talk again they will always be in her heart. It could be taken as someone who is considering suicide telling her friends they will always be together. It is possible Katie took her own life, but I kind of doubt it. I don't think she would have left her children. But I have seen other mothers commit suicide and I thought the same thing about the children.

Hopefully we will know more tomorrow as far as manner of death if that can be determined without toxicology reports. If the ME couldn't determine the manner of death and is waiting for the toxicology reports than it might be several weeks before we know.

Can somebody screenshot and send this post to me? I've never been able to see this post and I've heard several people talk about her posting at 12:24. The most recent post I've been able to see is the one of the birthday present for her son (May 27). I'm on my iPad. Maybe that has something to do with it. I'll go get on my computer & see if that helps

It appears they live out of state, so may keep up through the internet. It is possible she was emailed or messaged on Facebook, or they called her phone and don't have RF's cell number. I do not get the impression the boyfriend has had much exposure to Katie's family. He seems like a lone wolf, someone who doesn't like social media, and who probably never signed the Xmas cards himself.

This comment was posted on May 26 and she was reported missing on May 28. Now Katie will never get to pick up the phone and call her mom!

Some families are very close, some are not. Someone said upthreath that if her family didn't hear about her one day they would know something was amiss because they talk daily.
I always say if something happened to me my work boss would be the first to notice because my family are used to not knowing about me for months.
That FB comment about her picking up the phone or posting pictures of the kids led me to believe they didn't talked often. Just MOO as usual.

If she did actually sent that which I truly doubt. It would seem more like a woman who is about to go in to hiding and will be off the grid to avoid abusive bf.

If she was someone like me, as I speculated a couple posts back, this post she made was normal. My friends, even my best friend know that not hearing from me through a large period of time is normal. As I said just MOO and speculation but I don't see that post as someone trying to account for the fact she wasn't there.

Regardless LE should verify if he was ever at the store and verify with the clerk if Katie was or was not there for change and if she was if she was alone or with anyone.

It was already upsetting enough to know that Katie is gone, but looking at her FB page and the clear love for her kids....well it just breaks your heart even more, doesn't it. Those kids are going to miss their mother terribly.

She was posting on Facebook all day on the 27th. It stops at 6:30.

Then the last and final one which seemed suspicious due to how it was directed.

I wonder if any text went out that day and stopped suddenly as well.

It was katie's mother's boyfriend who said that she might have walked down to the local WaWa for change.

Robert Poisal is the boyfriend of Katie's mother, who lives in Lynchburg. He made his way to Portsmouth last Sunday to help Rich take care of the kids. He believes Katie may have been kidnapped at a nearby gas station. He says she was low on coins for the washing machine and may have walked over to the Royal Farms or Wawa.
