Hey, after all the false reports we now know for sure it WAS NOT HER CAR her car parked at JMU -her friends' car it was.

Hi everyone.....I am from Australia and have been lurking in this site for a little while now.....actually watched the movie the strangers and became interested in the caddie cabin murders which led me here.....and like the rest of you have become very addicted to this amateur sleuthing...lol...

anyhow I have been reading this forum and the one on Somer Thompson and both cases are very suss......

My dad was a policeman and he always said that we as the general public dont get to hear a fraction of what the police actually know.......and always look at the family/friends/someone they know first as the majority of the time they are the culprit.

There is so much info missing from this case and the friends are the key......

I am in my 40s now but have been thinking back to when I was in my early twenties to try and answer some questions....

Anyhow here are a few of my theories/rants/brainstorms....

1) Why was Morgan separated from her friends to start off with???

She was obviously excited about this concert and dressed to kill......me in my twenties with my good girlfriends and a long awaited event would have meant good time/party.......

Where was there seating?? She was dressed to kill and very beautiful.....would you be content to sit in a seat all night???? Knowing that there would have been alot of hot males there maybe she went off to explore or as my friends and I would say "check out the scenery" and they werent interested so went for a walk by herself....

Now please dont hammer me for this one but looking like she did, her chances would have been a lot higher than most there for getting a chance to catch the bands attention or meeting someone that could introduce her to the band...hence maybe wanting to go closer to the front.......I can remember running down the front back in the late 80s when fave bands were in town.....is quite a normal response...

Third option is of course that she had arranged to meet someone there and went off to meet them....

Fourth option...now this is based on a "sighting" that someone saw her in the toilets and it looked like she had been hit and was crying.......what if she had a fight with one of the girlfriends??? this may make sense when you think that they had a carefree attitude of her getting home etc.......and beleive me we all know girlfriends can fight....

NOW why was she outside?????? This I would need some answers from you americans and especially those who have been to that arena.....first of all someone said there is a smoking area.....why go outside?????

What about smoking a joint?? could you do that in the arena and no one really take much notice or would the security and police be likely to nab you??? If so maybe she met up with someone/people she knew who invited her for a smoke before metallica started and the safest option was to go outside....or to said persons car......

What about alcohol?? can you drink inside the stadium???

NEXT and this is where it gets really iffy to me.....she's outside, we know she's got her purse and her phone so where the hell is her ticket????? wouldnt you have it in your purse????? In the unlikely situation her friend had her ticket why did they not meet her at a door with it to let her in....I mean this was a concert she was really excited about....

I think she had to be with other people to end up outside....and that is why the friends werent too worried.....

Also trying to get home....I just couldnt see someone doing that...why not just wait outside......couldnt her friends give her the keys to sit in the car or take the car and come back for them...it would have only been a couple of hours wait....seems simpler than trying to get home....

With regards to her phone....i did read somewhere that someone saw a girl stumble and drop her bag a couple of times .....now if this can be confirmed the girl was drunk/had something dropped into her drink/smoked too much hooter or took a drug that spun her out.......In this case she probably wasnt too concerned with getting back in......

My theory is that she left her friends to party or meet somewhere there...ended up outside for a drug reason and spun out.....however after this i think foul play may have happened...

Once again the friends are the key and the reason why she ended up outside in the first place.....

With regards to this last question -yes, no chance in hell is right-and this is apparently a known fact so you never leave. Plus she would definitley know as she had been to several concerts there. Though some people on here and on FB site have mentioned that they were able to charm their way back into other concerts so she may have expected to be able to, who knows.

And yes there must be a reason for exiting. Ideas put forward so far are:

• too impaired or upset or hurt (from the fall?) to realise she was outside or the gravity or implication/consequences of being stuck outside
• having a bad reaction or uncomfortable reaction to a drug such as with E or something and wanting to get away from crowds
• feeling stifled and overwhelmed by crowd
• arguing with friends
• needing something so bad from the outside such as cash or drugs or a person to meet or an object to buy that she would leave
• being forced to leave
• meeting someone outside and thinking it was worth missing the concert for
• or accidently leaving somehow in her search for the smoking area-this has been said to be quite unlikely.

I want to know what her frame of mind was and what her state was-the friends absolutely know this. We were told somewhere that she did not really go to the bathroom (the girl who saw she had ben hit was in the smoking area we later found out, not the bathroom) but this LE won't reveal for purposes of investigation. She must have said "I'm just going to..." She would surely have made it quite clear where she would meet them back-the seating area or an emergeny spot if they should get separated so she must have been talking to them, they must have known her state or where she was going.

Next card - issue over money - someone trying to help her to get what she needed, but didn't quite make it. This has to do with another female. Both seem to be striving for the same - working together, but the help either just wasn't good enough or didn't come in time.

Next card is a card of breaking down - anger, rage caused either by herself or another, but this seems to be caused by another female. Injury to one - downfall of one - loss to one. World turned upside down and cracked/broken. MH may have been the one to set these events on course or to start them, but it was finished by another. Could have caused great embarrassment, jealousy, rage, injury in which MH could have run away from - which set other events into motion.

Last card - Offending female - Someone who dyes their hair - not natural colored - completely opposite. This female dresses more for the professional world and not that of a college student. Female appears somewhat older than her years. Prefers to wear earthy tones. Is quite precise in her diction and uses as few words as possible to get her point across - which she is able to do very well. She appears to be rather tall - taller than average or the persona she gives off she sees herself bigger - ego thing. Quite striking in looks, prominent nose (but proportioned) and pouty lips. Medium blue or hazel eyes.

Okay...I'm on the phone now. I'm not sure what your question is regarding these cards so I'll just ask ***** to elaborate as much as she can or if she can clarify any of these points in these cards...

Money issue - she was looking to buy something, probably not something just for her since there is another involved. May have been something for the 2 of them or something that would have benefited, in some way, others. Something happened to not make this not happen - whether they didn't come up with enough money or if they did the item(s) were already sold and gone by the time they did come up with the funds.

Appears that there was some kind of words spoken (not necessarily full blown altercation) that brought some kind of emotion to MH and to that situation - that could have brought on the elements of jealousy, rage, embarrassment, etc. These words may or may not have come from any one of the "friends", this could have been by anyone - another fellow concert goer or security guard or arena employee. Whatever it was didn't set too well with MH.

The offending female card does seem to point to one of MH's friends, but may not necessarily have been - as above, could be a fellow concert goer or arena employee. ***** seems to think it is a friend and that no one taking up for MH - brought on the emotions mentioned above which caused her to "walk it off" / go away from the friends. The thing being it's possible that all of the friends didn't hear this exchange and have no idea that certain things were said.

So I was out and about in Charlottesville last night...and Morgan came up quite a few times with locals at bars, etc...and I truly believe that she WAS seen outside of the arena.

Our driver was outside of the arena that night...and yes, this was reported to LE. He/She is truly a wonderful person and never leaves my side on nights out. He/she said they saw Morgan (WITH tights on) walking in the parking lot WITHOUT her purse, and WITHOUT looking intoxicated. He/She also said they saw a hispanic male about 3 car lengths behind her walking. Usually, he/she would have stopped a girl walking alone and offer assistance, and he/she feels awful they didn't, but it was a concert and there were a lot of people around. It's part of this person's job to observe and be ready when needed....so, I believe this.

Thanks Truthful Lies for sharing this. Don't suppose your driver told you the time this was? Thanks for the info about her not looking intoxicated-that's really useful as we heard the sighting of her being seen continuously dropping her purse. So by this time she didn't have her purse... so in that case you'd think she'd ask for assistance in finding it or seek out a way of using a phone... This puts doubt to the theory it was lost in a struggle or something. Mystery just deepens.

I'm sure this person does feel awful but how were they to know. Two other people who sighted her said the exact same thing about feeling really bad they didn't help her more but again, it's just the way it goes-it's so not their fault.

I can ask about the time tonight when I see the person. I clarified several times about the tights, the purse, whether she looked intoxicated, etc, and they were adamant about their answers - even though I'd had a glass of wine, I did a thorough "questioning"...I'll be completely sober tonight when I ask again.

Any other questions you can think of besides the time? I did get a height description of the male as well, although I'm going to ask for a detailed description tonight.

Hispanic male has come up twice now...I just read a feature story on Morgan in the local 'The Hook' and there WAS another report of MH arguing with an Hispanic male...I don't know if it's true, but now that I've heard this sighting personally from a very credible source, I believe it. And now I'm wondering if the sighting of MH arguing with an hispanic male is indeed true.

Maybe she was going to Starbucks to get warm and wait...it could have been something as innocent as that. That would be my first thought if I was alone at night and had to wait...well, I'd call a car service, but I relieze that's not an option for everyone =p

Well LE said the call was initiated by her friend(s) inside, and I think it's possible they called in between acts. Maybe the last opening act was done and they were waiting for Metalica and called Morgan to see where she was.
It's usually a good 30 minutes wait after the opening act has finished to when the headlining band comes on stage.

How did she end up outside? That is a big place and there must have been bathrooms all over the place. Why would she have gone outside looking for a bathroom? That doesn't make sense to me. I wonder why she went alone too.

Once again I find myself asking the same questions over and over again.

Why did she leave her friends?
Why did she leave the arena when she knew she could not get back in?
If she needed money to get home why didn't her friends get it to her. I am sure a policeman would have taken the money from the friend and handed it to Morgan outside..wouldn't they???
Why would she walk into the darkness, a place all of us agree is darned spooky.
Why do her parents seem to have given up hope and speak of her in the past tense?
Why are they (Le, family, friends) saying nothing about this? What is the purpose?
Can we believe perfect strangers sighted her when her own parents weren't sure?
Did she even attend the concert?

Maybe 48 hours will do an hour on this one and then we just might get a picture of what went on that night.

Just thinking about what might have happened during the six months between purchase of the tickets for the concert and the actual concert:

Did Morgan spend the summer at home with her parents or in Blacksburg...or elsewhere? Did she go to summer school? Did she have a summer job? Does she still have the same apartment in Blacksburg that she had for the previous school year (i.e., 2008-09)?

Perhaps her enthusiasm for Metallica waned over the summer for whatever reason, but since her dad had paid for the tickets (as reported), she didn't want to disappoint her parents and consequently didn't let them know that she wasn't quite as excited about the concert as she had been six months earlier. I can see that happening. Kids' tastes can be fickle and the need to not disappoint parents can be strong. MOO.

I believe the tickets were on the 'frig in her parents' home.

And how come, I have never seen her mom cry on camera. I think that's weird to me.

I totally feel the same way. I had a best friend who wanted out of her life- pretty girl, blonde, very popular. She went missing for months before anyone found her, via her banking activity- however, she was living in a completely different province by this time.
Truly sad either way.

My point here being that she didn't care that there were missing posters, pressers, etc. about her, she just wanted out. I am not saying MH is like this, or even wanted an out, but it's definitely a possibility.

I have a really hard time believing that she would just leave her purse- being a girl, this makes absolutely no sense. My purse is my safety blanket. My thoughts are that she was in a struggle, or that she just left it to look like she was in a struggle. As for her battery? Well if it just fell out, why would someone then steal said battery? I mean, if the purse was just laying there in the parking lot, I am certain someone wouldn't have just left it there but taken the battery. JMO.

Thats a very good point. Young people live by their cellphones. If the battery was out of her cellphone didn't the friends grow suspicious and go to all lengths to find her. We know the cellphone minus the battery was found in the RV lot so nobody could get through..did they even try???

What kind of a friend would do that. There was a group. Does anybody know how many went to the concert together? The reason I ask is because if there were several surely one would have cared enough to try and find a friend who was without money, locked outside and no cell phone working!!! I would hope my friends would care enough to find me...somebody.

Anything is a possibility. My friend who disappeared was well off, and decided to sleep on a park bench for a month before meeting someone. The human mind is a powerful and unpredictable thing. I think it's safe to assume that anything could have happened at this point of time.

Truthful Lies - I'm positive I saw somewhere a few days back that she was in an argument with a hispanic male but I can't find the info anywhere now. I thought it was the woman who saw her fighting with someone who spoke to reporters but now all I see is she was only able to give vague description. So where did you see this do you know?

Once again we know only three things;

Morgan had a ticket to go to the concert.

Her purse and cell phone minus battery was found in the RV parking area.

She has not been seen or heard from since a week ago Tuesday.

Other than the above..strickly speculation. No pictures, no phone records, no friends that know her have come forward and said "yes she was at the concert". Strange, very strange.

Where is Tuesday coming from; or did you mean Saturday?

Yes, the Metallica concert was Saturday, October 17, 2009.
