I am just so sick over this...if it were my sister or friend, I don't know what I would do!

When did the police say she had been sighted Before and After the bridge? do you have a link?

I am really really thinking she could be way out in the country, Free Union or beyond. People have got to keep their eyes open for anything out of the ordinary! JMO.

This is when I'm always so torn between wanting to find her so that the family can have closure and so that there is still a good chance of usable evidence to convict, and wanting it to not be true because it means the worst has happened.

Google maps shows the River is 28 Miles from JPJ at the closest point.

Here is some info on the river..it is in some populated parts and some rural parts. I pray they find something...

Its abot 150 Miles from Roanoke...if you are looking at the river where it is closest to Charlottesville. Roanoke is SouthWest of Charlottesville, and there is a main road is I 81. The River is South or Southeast in some areas, she would not have been headed in the direction of home, IMO.

2) Harrisonburg where she was to stay Saturday night with friends enrolled at JMU?

3) Blacksburg, where she has an apartment while attending Va. Tech?

I suppose instead of taking the main, 1-81, they could have taken Rt 29, and then hopped onto an even more rural route, "on the way to Roanoke" and hit the rive, south of Charlottesville.

I guess we don't know if it was on the way home because we don;t know which part of the river they are searching! I am going on the part, nearest to Charlottesville.

I pray they find her! I have that surge too!

Interestingly, if you follow the RR tracks from copley Rd... it crosses the river near the Comfort Inn area over by I64 & HWY 250
