When my girls were younger and after their dad was killed we went to Idaho to visit my grand parents. We took a day trip to Canada and let me tell you we almost did not make it over the border into Canada! They stopped us and had us go to a room without my grandparents and they asked why we were going etc. I explained and they asked about the dad and I told them he was deceased. So they pulled the youngest daughter tot he side and questioned her about her dad, of course she told them the same thing and another ask my oldest if she was excited and some other questions. They then told us the girls did not look/act like they were being forced, nor did they look/act unhappy, so they let us go on into Canada. This was several years ago and had their dad been alive I doubt we could have gotten into that country. We did not plan to go to Canada and I would have never thought to bring his death certificate nor a letter had he still been alive.

True, I know of Hunters who do it all the time in 1999, you go up Hwy 61 like you are going up to Grand Portage, the take Co RD 17 to Partridage Falls RD, Follow it all the way over the river into Canada, No boarder Crossing there. Middle of woods...Le Verendreye Forest.. Canada.

And end up at my 'camp' (often called cottage/summer home). :)

I think LE needs to pay a lot of attention to any reports of stolen boats from marinas in AL, FL, VA, GA, and MI. If JE has any experience with fishing offshore, he could probably navigate a boat pretty easily. They could be seeking a warm, international climate and that'd be a heck of a lot easier than trying to get through the borders of Canada and Mexico if they're not prepared to do a lot of hiking, running, and bullet-dodging.

VERY, VERY, good point and they are always stealing boats down here...
Hardly ever are reported till the owner comes down for vacation and is like "Hey wheres my boat?"

My idea is that they are living from vacant cabin, boat etc day by day!

Just my personal opinion!!

I think that Flyer with him on it they are posting does not look much like him in the Wal-Mart photo...

Actual if I had that Flyer of him in my hand and him from the Wal-Mart Photo walked up to me I would Look and say NO not the guy in the Flyer...

His pictures just about scream "redneck!"

It's not like I'm taking offense, because I'm not the overly sensitive type. But there are plenty of good "rednecks" that would likely take a dirtbag like JE out to the woodshed. Being from the south or having an accent is not related to criminality or ignorance. I'm from Florida where most coastal residents lack southern accents and there's plenty of criminals and stupidity here. :D

I call people rednecks all the time, but it's hard to do it based on appearance. My cousins look like huge rednecks and they're Latin Club members and competitive swimmers, lol.

I wonder if the number of tips (almost 700) has to do with the poor descriptions/photos issued of both the car and JE...

LE really should update both at this next PC...

Didn't mean to offend :) I also claim "redneck" status....maybe he's more of a "good ol' boy?" ;)
