What????? No verdict????

Just got home. I have anew great grandson! Joseph Adam Fischer, 5 lbs. 12 ounces, some good news!

I hope Casey Anthony isn't somewhere laughing at us because I cannot see how it takes this long for a MURDER ONE verdict.

1). She admitted it!
2). She drove 1000 miles. Took some planning!
3). She slaughtered the guy.

So what more does a reasonable person need?

Aww.... :blowkiss: Love you too Sleuth! You have great taste in music too!

:skip: :skip: :skip:

You know I can't help but love you too Softail. And being born and raised in Southern Californian I'm surprised I like a Texan :)

But for you I'll make an exception and look past you being from Texas :) <don't throw rocks at me. It's just how we liberal Californians roll>

I completely agree...that's why I'm worried about the many hours they have spent discussing the case!! I'm just trying to stay calm, and as others have pointed out, it's true they haven't been able to talk about the case at all so they probably have a lot of say about it. I just feel like if I was a juror I would be so fuming mad at Jodi...like hey I sat there, took time out of my life to listen to your side of the story, and you straight up LIED in my face. It would take me 5 minutes for my decision after everything they've heard.

I've baked a pineapple upside down cake! I've talked on the phone! I've cleaned house. I've surfed the web and still no verdict.

Nope. It's impossible that it will be a bad verdict. Impossible. They are just talking. They've been unleashed after a long long time.

I just think there must be some idiot holdouts. I did not just want justice for Travis, I wanted SWIFT justice. If it were these jurors son or husband or brother would they not want the same? And it has already been five years. There should be zero fog in that room. Sometimes I think people who are selected for big trials like this get a little pompous and arrogant and really into thier own importance....like, well, let them all wait on US for a change.

NOOOOO! Did you meet Gene Gene the Dancing Machine?

no, but I did meet Chuck, Mitzy McCall, Jamie Farr, and J.P.Morgan.....LOL....oh and that nun that drug me off the stage with the big butterfly net..... :floorlaugh:

I can't even imagine a case with THIS MUCH EVIDENCE taking more than 4 hours to decide. All I can take from this is that the jury is actually believing the lies of the liar. After Casey, I said NO MORE and yet I find myself here. I won't be able to take another ridiculous display of the justice systems. I just don't know WHAT it takes anymore to get a simple guilty verdict?????????

What exactly is 2nd degree murder ? do you get out in 20 years or something like that?

Simon does not like cookies, and he now only eats green M&M's, he's actually quite upset about a few things that 'went on' I think you know what he means .. 'What was that Simon?' .. 'Yes, I am talking to HIM' .. Anyway, I've got to go now .. Simon says stop trying to contact him, he says you know why.

Oh, ye damned puppet.

I don't think they are disagreeing at all. I think this is just the first time they have had a chance to talk about the trial after 4 months. They need to decompress and probably have a lot to discuss. I've never felt more confident about a murder one verdict. No doubt.

I laugh when I get nervous and/or stressed out. It would take me a full day to get through laughing at all the stupid stuff that JA did/said on the stand, laughing about that ridiculous "duuuuhhh" expression ALV would get when she was trying to dodge a question, laughing about/wondering what was wrong w/ Gus, and some of Juan's one-line zingers. Then we'd get to the pictures of JA (which I finally got up the nerve to see), and that would take up the second day because all the jurors would need to share the eye bleach.

You are right. They have a LOT to talk about.

Edit: I'm probably not the best pick for a juror, by the way. LOL!

How lovely!! Congrats, great-grandma! That IS good news.

But they're deciding if somebody should live or die. That's kinda a big deal, you know? They need to make sure they are making the right decision.

That said, I'd have no problem sending her to death in 2 mins.

But they are not deciding on the death penalty just yet, I think I am correct. moo

He is an idiot...he has bad rapped JM through this trial....I would suggest he go to the gutter and try to dig up some clients :stormingmad:

He is one I just have to mute or I wind up physically ill.

Yeah, why isn't he busy working?

At least Juan... who DKs is so jealous of ....continues to work on many cases he has as he waits for the verdict.

IMO

Lol - Dr. Drew was talking about Chris on WS radio last night, only he didn't know it was WS. He didn't know the source.

Lol, my father named me after 'That Girl' he was totally infatuated with her!!!:floorlaugh:
I was named after a character on The Edge of Night... the character was killed in a car wreck and my Mom said my Dad mourned for weeks!

While we're waiting I'll tell my brush with fame story. I used to work in the Texas state Capitol building (now I'm two blocks away and can see it from my window).

Anyhow, many movies were filmed there and we all got to see lots of celebrities from a distance...Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Leslie Ann Warren, Peter coyote, Dennis Quaid are a few I saw and we even got a couple of autographs.

But the most Gobsmacked I ever was was the day Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip came. They let us line the big hall and she walked right past me, she was literally two feet away and smiled right at me. She was so pretty, all dressed in yellow.

That was the coolest!

ETA. We all came all dressed up in our Sunday best that day. We wore hats and gloves and everything.
