I think that today is that day. One way or the other. Im so glad they tried but now it just has to be over give her LWP and that is that. No direct appeal and she is off into the prison system to be just another member.

It's not like if she gets the DP that they walk her out the room and they inject her ( we can dream though )

I wonder what mitigating factors are resonating with some of these jurors? Or did we have jurors who essentially lied about their ability to sentence JA to death? I've never done what these people are trying to do, but it seems like after putting all the time in, that they could just agree on a sentence, so the judge doesn't end up doing what they themselves could have

When jurors are considered "death qualified" to serve on a jury that CAN render the death penalty, they have not yet seen evidence, heard testimony, etc. Their ultimate decision is based on what transpires during the trial. I'm certain that all 12 jurors (plus alternates) were open and honest about being able to vote for death IF - and only IF - the evidence presented during the trial warranted the DP. I will not fault someone who wasn't convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that Ms. Arias deserves the death penalty.

RIGHT?!? Are they supposed to be happy?! This isn't a game show FGS! So many tweets say the jury looks "tired and unhappy"... As if they should all look perky and smile. I don't get it.

You know who is probably EXHAUSTED and MISERABLE? The entire Alexander family, thats who. Get back to work Jury!

Oh they will celebrate, and so will JA, the one who wanted the death penalty, so she said.

Good for her! It will be her last hurrah before she slips into obscurity in prison, no one adoring her. All the fuss around this killer will fizzle out.

At least this killer isn't going free like that one in Florida. TG for small favors, I guess, given how we have witnessed juries with no qualms about setting killers free.

It beats me how those instructions are supposed to help anything. It's because of their individual beliefs that they are stuck. I expect a fast return with no change. Then we shall see what JSS is made of, once and for all.

Yeah, a more effective way to approach this would be to remind the jury of the instructions and what their duties are…including accepting all of the prior verdicts from the first jury!

I think they are not "deadlocked' like few are saying, but I think there are one or 2 are on the edge to decide the verdict.. impasse is "helping someone or some people are on the edge.. deadlocked none JMO

This is exactly what JA craves. Knowing she gets to people. Please don't allow her to get to you or anyone for that matter. We have no control over the jurors. They really have been working hard. Regardless of the outcome, JA will be in prison forever. She wants to portray this doesn't effect her, that is pure BS. Locked up like a caged animal for the rest of her life.

so this is what happened last time. So now we wait, and then this jury will be another hung jury and the judge will sentence the murderer, the only sentence left is LWOP, so hopefully this judge will do this today????
