Watching the Lifetime showing right now and wondered who MB's boyfriend/pimp was and if he's ever been mentioned. Anyone know? Tia!

I think it's good for all of us to review prior news reports now and again... I know it's helpful for me!

There's that old saying, "the devil is in the details"... and I keep hoping someone will put enough details together to finally apprehend the murderer!
 
Didn't I read somewhere that MB was last seen outside her apartment "sitting on the curb"? For the life of me, I don't remember where I read that. If this is true, it would seem, to me, that she was waiting for a ride.

Maybe the client she had a date with later was picking her up and that's why she turned down JT's offer for a ride? Maybe the client was like, "I'll just come pick you up." She would've trusted him, because she had become "chummy" with him.

Or, if you want to entertain the cab driver scenario, maybe she was waiting on a cab to pick her up?

Why didn't she want a ride from JT? That's odd to me.

Just wondering.
 
I think there is a personal connection between Melissa and the SK. Rita Tangredi's daughter said her best friend was Melissa Barthelemy. Can we really say this is a coincidence? The SK called melissa's sister, he called her boyfriend/pimp 30 times. Is the SK someone Rita Tangredi was close enough too that he would still know her daughter and her friends 20 years later? Who could this be? There is a connection here...lets find it
 
Been thinking a lot about MB lately. And I guess I'd like to know what others thinks even tho I'm sure its all ready been covered.

So MB was last seen in the Bronx by her pimp. Then later on her phone pinged off of a tower in Massapequa. Then police went and checked out two motels but found nothing.

Okay so my thought is this. Maybe MB didn't go missing like we all think. What if she left the Bronx went on her call and got another call asking her to meet at the motel and he was able to grab her at this time?

Because seems to me the guy calling Amber and trying to get her to meet him at the other motel was trying to set her up for exactly that reason. He failed and came up with a new plan to lure her away. Which also kinda points to him stalking and watching his victims first IMO.

Or what if MB was escorting but a john pulled up offered a good price and she hoped in?
 
The killer called Melissas friend about 30 times by a drunken white man. To bad we know very little about what was said to him. He notified the police. They must of put a trace on his phone also.
 
and wouldn't it be nice to know where LE was able to trace them phone calls back to? Wonder if they were made from the same places he called MB's sister from? Or if he had called them on the same day around the same time. And its interesting he called MB's sister only a hand full of times then called her pimp 30 times. But yet the phone calls to her sister is most talked about. Makes you wonder a little about what his deal with the pimp was. I mean its obvious what he was trying to do with her sister but not really with the pimp.
 
And also didn't someone try to access to MBB's voice mail as well from Massapequa?

If I am remembering right someone did. Then that kind of makes me think he has a safe place in Massapequa to sit and mess with their phones with out realizing that even checking the voice males would ping. Maybe this is his one mistake.

I've been thinking about this a lot sense it was brought to my attention.

Either John Terry is over exaggerating. Or this is really weird. I mean the phone calls to the sister ended rather soon and I can't remember exactly but he made something like only 5-6 phone calls to her sister. Yet for 8 months he continued to call JT? Over 30 times?

What's up with that?

Also MB had a date lined up with a married man that she never showed up for. I can't find anywhere when that date was planned for. But I am assuming it was pretty close to the time she went missing. So if she was going to an all night call on long island for a large amount of money then why would she set up another date?

Im starting to really believe that she left. Went for a call. Got done with that call and was on her way to another one. Either set up by the killer him self or being stalked and watched till the perfect moment came along to snatch her up off the streets.

Just because JT got calls..... it doesn't mean it was LISK.
NO WHERE in this article does it say that the calls came from MB's phone.

It could very easily have been from another pimp that was a competitor of JT and wooing MB to work for him. IT's a VERY competitive world - that world of pimps. IT's also deadly.

That is true. And not only does it not say anything in this article about the calls coming from MB phone I've actually never once have heard any where that the phone calls to JT ever came from MBs phone.

The only thing that does make me think a lil that the phone calls did come from the lisk is that the phone calls lasted for 8 months. That's weird. You would think another pimp would of figured out she was missing. And I think the phone calls to JT came from a phone registered Mickey Mouse.

Since there has been NO media interest at all in his story
it's exactly that

Doesn't mean its true at all.
I would say with 100% certainty that LISK did NOT call JT.
If what he had to say was true,
the police would have been on top of it, under it and in it
100%.
If JT had a valid true lead, the police would have tapped his
phone in a New York minute - since that never happened...
I'd say he just wanted some of the fame that surrounds the outer
tiers of this case.

That's what I was kinda starting to think. That or he over exaggerated everything to the point that if he did receive a phone call its meaningless now and unbelievable.

MB's sister got a few phone calls the first few months well JT got 30 over an 8 month span?!?! hmmm sounds like a few girls I use to know from high school who never wanted the drama to die down and had to be in the middle of it.
 
Phone calls most likely were not from LISK. I don't think LISK likes to confront or associate with men. Plain and simple. He gets his pleasures out of being sadistic towards females and only females he think he can overpower or that he has more power over. That's why he only spoke with MB sister in a sadistic manner, but not her mom. In fact he tried to pretend he was a cop when she answered and asked if MB was reported missing. When the dad/husband picked up he hung up. I also think this gives clues that LISK is a white collar worker or at least middle to upper class because I felt that he knew MB's parents were business owners and that is essentially being equal to or higher than LISK, whereas MB's sister is a young impressionable unemployed teen. This might not leave that mechanic profiled on dark minds out of the question as a suspect than because if he was also self-employed and owned his own business/shop he is probably middle to upper class
 
I would not dismiss what JT. said about receiving calls. Maybe the killer was jealous of him.
 
I'm fairly certain that the person making the calls was in fact the killer.
