How big is this trailer....6 siblings plus Janice and her parents= 9

Looking at the homes in the trailer park and the address of her home they look like double wides. Some even look bigger then that.

Prayers for this little one...

The map shows what I think of as a manufactured home community, more than a "trailer park". Am I right, anyone with local knowledge? They look well kept, etc.

"Janice Paulette Wright, 6, was last seen by family members around 10 p.m. Saturday when she went to bed at her family’s mobile home..."

"The family says Janice has left home before to wander around the neighborhood with friends or siblings, but checks in ever few hours. The family assumed she was in the area when they didn’t see her Sunday morning."

Does that mean that the family assumed that she woke up that morning, got herself dressed and went out to wander around the neighborhood before anyone else woke up? Then they just assumed that this 6 year old was out playing all day long and then they started looking for her at 830 pm?

Not.buying.that.

I pray I'm wrong.

This is sad for so many reasons. I hope that some how she's just lost and no one has harmed her.

There are a lot of VERY interesting comments going on after this article. Poster "1opinion" says that they saw an interview on KIRO (local station) with the father and he said Jenise is a spoiled brat who runs around the neighborhood with her siblings and always gets her way.

I haven't seen the interview but maybe they will post it on their site at some time - http://www.kirotv.com/

ETA: Here's a link to the video, thanks AnnieOakley!

No, they are in fact mobile homes.

I am a mom of four teenagers right now. When kids were six years old, if we woke up and one of kids wasn't home, we would have called 911. I know she supposedly would leave, but then check in every few hours. So, how did she check in? My kids didn't get cell phones until high school. Would she check in by using her own cell? Use neighbor's phone to call home phone? Come home every few hours to say to parents she is fine and go back out? But 22 hours later, and THEN parents call police?

The mobile home park she lives in isn't that big. She'd probably just come home and check in. This is the google earth shot of it. From earlier news reports it says they live in the 1400 block which is at the bottom left of this shot. steelecreek.jpg
