I will say the remark about his daughter being spoiled didn't cause any bells to go off but his reaction when the reporter shows him the flyer and asks about the report that Jenise was gone 24 hours before her family started searching did. He didn't say anything, just stared at the flyer like it was the holy grail and then gave some remark about a neighbor calling before then(? at least I think that's what he said). According to the reporter he wasn't telling the truth. It was like he was trying to think up a lie or excuse. I hope this child's parents aren't responsible for her disappearance. JMO

Bingo. The "spoiled brat" comment was the least telling thing in that video. The comment by the reporter "We showed that flyer to her dad" (paraphrasing), was weird to me. It seemed to implied some edited out tension. And the long pause...very odd.

Besides being out in the neighborhood on her own, I wonder how often she was gone before anyone woke up. If a 6yo went to bed at 10pm, seems she wouldn't naturally wake up that early on her own.

I'm on my cel phone, so sorry if this has already been asked. Are there any bodies of water around, rough terrain, etcetera? Are there any stores around that she may have walked to? I worry too that some creeper may have been watching her, since it seems she was out playing a lot. I really hope this has a happy ending.

The way it came off to me was that he thought a neighbor had called 911 earlier than that. Maybe the neighbor said they would, and then didn't? Hard to say, but I can't imagine how I might look or sound if being interviewed 24 hours after one of my kids went missing. I'm sure I'd look a little nutty or detached even, since I tend to go into analytical mode when crisis hits. It's when it's all over, that I break down.

Most trailer parks around where I live look nice like that. They are not actually 'mobile'. My gran lives in one that is quite lovely and filled with retired couples and small families.

Back in the days of Mapquest, before GPS, I did get lost in the back roads of South Carolina and saw a gnarly looking trailer park that quite frankly frightened me and I had to lock the doors and roll up the windows.

I've been away from Bremerton for many years but back in the day, they were all called trailer parks. The real ones with actual trailers 5th wheels, RVs, etc., and the nicer ones with single, park models, double and triple wide mobiles. Steele Creek is a nicer looking park with those types of homes.

From this video reporter Graham Johnson called to verify what time the first 911 call was made and he verifies that it was placed at 9:55pm. .

How long would it take to search that entire neighbourhood for a missing child? Surely everyone would have been alerted last night, and the community would be on high alert. The locals would be out checking their sheds, garages, pools, and outbuilding. If this was a tight community where everyone was watching each others children, then the place would have exploded into action.

How many hours has it been since the search was started?

If she hasn't been found by now, then she's not in the trailer park.

The closest would Port Orchard Bay & Dyes Inlet but neither would be within walking distance to the MH park. The actual Steel Creek is closer (runs sort of behind the park through the woods and I believe the property is fenced along the plot line - my uncle lived on that side of the park and I remember there being a fence at the back of his property) but if memory serves it's not deep at all. Not really "rough" terrain but there is a lot of wooded areas. Most wooded areas in that part of Bremerton have well-worn foot paths though. It's been quite a while since I've been there but the only entrance to the park is Old Military Road and I'm not sure where the closest store would be.

The park really isn't that big. An adult could walk all the way around it in less than 30 minutes or so (guessing). I read on one of the Seattle news sites (can't recall which one, I follow them all even though I don't live there anymore) they were actually done searching the park itself and were searching the surround woods. There's A LOT woods around there, in all directions.

Even though she hasn't been found IN the park yet, doesn't mean she isn't still there. :(

The girl lives with her parents and six siblings in a mobile home park. Two of those siblings are adults.According to her family, Jenise has left their home on previous occasions and wandered around the neighborhood with siblings or friends, but checks in every few hours. When the family awakened Sunday morning and she wasn’t in the house, they assumed she was somewhere in the neighborhood.
“She is a social butterfly, she’s the youngest, she's a spoiled little brat, and she’s the princess of the household and she gets her way most times than the others and the older ones can’t stand it," said the girl's father, Jim Wright.

So according to this article, there are 6 kids. Two adults, one 16yr old that was not at home at the time, CPS removed two kids, and Jenise, plus the parents all there together, and yet no one noticed a kid was gone all day. The baby of the family.

I agree. They have done searches in the trailer park, not only family and neighbours but with many skilled searchers and dogs. Time to expand the search area a bit.

They brought the CARD team in for Lindsey Baum too : (

I can't even imagine waking up, not finding my child in their bed and going about my entire day without a care in the world!

I read earlier on the Search and Rescue bulletin that there unconfirmed reports of sightings of her in the park yesterday between 2pm and 4pm but haven't heard anything else about that.

Helicopters were out this morning, I can hear them now. We still have yet to receive a reverse call, or alert to our cell phones. I hope she's found. Cannot fathom leaving a six year old to wander...
