Is the engagement off then?
Oh, to be a fly on the wall....Is the engagement off then?
wow I knew they were in on it, I didn't think they would be this stupid though
I actually believe that the whole idea was hatched and set in motion by Aaron’s parents after listening to Aaron whine. I don’t think Mama Aung is innocent. Nadia may not have realized the full extent of the plan (Mexico), which is why I think she’ll accept a plea in exchange for testifying against AA and JA. If the engagement isn’t off, she’s a fool!
TBH I thought Momma Aung was the driving force behind the kidnapping. I’m surprised she hasn’t been charged either.yeah I'm actually surprised that Mama Aung hasn't been charged as well

Seems as Daddy Aung was in deep.
I just can’t believe the stupidity of the entire cast of characters. I guess they thought they could pull it off.
MOO
I'm curious what reason you have to suspect that? What I've read in the media hasn't given me any reason to think that so it's always interesting to me when someone has the complete opposite impression (and how they arrived there).BBM
I agree that Mama Aung is very likely the main kidnap plotter. It will be interesting to see if she’s eventually charged.

Thank you for explaining. I thought maybe there was something I'd missed that pointed right at her being as involved as her husband. While that may be the case, I suspect if she's never charged that means LE didn't have any proof she was on board and we'll never know if she was.Good question…thanks for asking. I read a lot of advice columns, and overly controlling grandmothers are a very common problem. So I have a gut feeling that she’s a Mama Bear wanting what she thinks is best for her son and grandchild. To me, grandma-knows-best fingerprints were all over that statement that was released maligning Seraya’s Mom. So it’s not a huge leap for me to see her wheels turning with an idea to get Seraya out of her Mom’s reach. I think she would see the new girlfriend Nadia as much “higher class” and a more suitable “mother” for Seraya. I could be way off-base and totally unfair to Mama Aung, but that’s my thinking process for putting her in the middle of this mess.
All JMO of course
Ugh, can they hurry up already?? We need the name out there! On August 2, after Aaron Aung faced a federal judge, U.S. Attorney Vanessa Waldref said Aung had worked with multiple people in the scheme to take his two-year-old daughter to Mexico.
"There also are very concerning allegations about how the defendant worked with his fiancé and family to be involved in removing the child from the United States," she said at the time.
Now we know three people have been indicted by a federal grand jury: Aaron, his father Jaimes who appeared in court August 9, and a still-unknown third defendant.
"There is another defendant who was listed in the indictment and has been charged, but that information remains under seal pending that person's arrest or appearance in federal court," Waldref said Monday.
She said there's no estimate on when that could happen.
Third person indicted in international kidnapping, but identity is still sealed
Aaron Aung and his father, Jaimes Aung, also face two charges.www.krem.com
I feel reasonably confident about who the third person is. Just waiting for her to be in custody. I can be patient. I know it's coming.Ugh, can they hurry up already?? We need the name out there!
Yep, it’s telling that the U.S. Attorney said:I feel reasonably confident about who the third person is. Just waiting for her to be in custody. I can be patient. I know it's coming.
Sh....don't bother her. Somebody is studying for the law-school entrance exam.Yep, it’s telling that the U.S. Attorney said:

That third person’s name will probably not come as a surprise once the arrest happens and the docs are unsealed.

she's quite a few months late in taking the LSAT, maybe a 'gap year' ? LOLSh....don't bother her. Somebody is studying for the law-school entrance exam.

Looks like there was a testing session last week with another in early September.she's quite a few months late in taking the LSAT, maybe a 'gap year' ? LOL
Not for admission for 2024, it would be for 2025 fall most likely. It originally sounded like she was heading straight to law school at one point early on. It seemed they really were hyping her up as a 'law student' in the beginning.Looks like there was a testing session last week with another in early September.
