Oh sweet baby boy, where the heck are you??? We will NEVER give up looking for you and hoping for a return.....you belong with your daddy and sissy....continued prayers for our boy....

I am curious why they haven't at least charged Sky's mother for leaving him in the car since she did admit to doing that and has done it in the past when he was just an infant.

missrugby . . . at this point I am agreeing with you. LE has consistently stated they didn't want to compromise their case against her by charging her with lesser crimes if she was found to be involved in more heinous crimes against this sweet chld. At this point, we are no closer to finding Sky today than we were the first day he went missing (at least that we know of).

I was agreeing with their philosophy earlier as I great hope they were close to solving this case. Now, I am not so sure. The longer time ticks away, the more memories are forgotten, details are lost, and witnesses are harder to find.

Sweet child . . . you deserve so much more!

Giving Sky a little boost up so he doesn't end up on another page.

Sadly, they can't charge JB with that because it would jeopardize any future cases against her. If she were to be found guilty of that (lesser) offense, no jury could find her guilty of murder if the DA ever felt able to bring those charges. The two are mutually exclusive.

She couldn't have left Sky alone in the car AND murdered him -- the two could not have possibly happened together. She either left him alone in the car and someone kidnapped him or he wandered off and succumbed to the elements (LE has pretty much ruled both of those options out) OR she murdered him/he died of neglect and abuse and she lied, saying she left him the car, as a cover-up. It simply can't be both. And, I think we all know which one it is.

So, if LE ever got enough evidence to charge her with murder by means of neglect or abuse, they would be screwed if they had previously charged and convicted her of leaving him unattended in the car -- because he would have never been in the car to begin with!

It's like accusing me of robbing a candy store, charging me with that crime, finding me guilty, and sentencing me to a year in prison....only to find out 1 year later I actually stole candy from a baby on a street corner and there was video footage showing that I committed that crime at the exact same time as the supposed candy store robbery I was previously found guilty of -- and had served my time for. You couldn't charge and sentence me again. It is only possible I did one of those crimes and it doesn't matter how late the proof comes in -- you can't punish me twice. That's simply how our legal system works, it's not fair, JB knows it, and she's getting away with murder, IMO.

I was going to answer this, but Rougelatete did it so much better than I could have (I have the flu). There's no proof that Sky was ever in the car that morning. No witness other than Julia and she can't be trusted.

With all of this said, WHY don't they charge her for neglecting MM? She was underweight. Julia also admitted to leaving the kids alone the day of mediation. She was absent for 12+ hours that day and no one has said that they were babysitting.

Get her butt behind dirty bars and I think she'll crack. :jail: She won't have the constant support of her family and friends (those that claimed they love Sky).

My baby (he's 3) has been sick the last couple of days as well. The first day all he wanted to do was be held and loved on. That's to be expected of most children his age. It makes me wonder if Sky wasn't indeed sick (from neglect/malnourished) and he wanted his mom to hold him and take care of him and something went wrong. If MM was as underweight at the time of Sky's "disappearance", I'd be surprised if Sky wasn't as well. MM was her "favorite" child, after all. Maybe she lost her temper because he interfered with her cleaning routine? Maybe she OD'd him in hopes that he would sleep longer so she could clean without interruption. Like Casey Anthony, I think there is a little bit of truth in Julia's lies.

That article certain does reflect MY opinion on JB and what's happened to Sky. Just seems insane that nothing is being done with her. Nothing. Not even child endangerment or neglect or something. Give her something. Better than her living off the state of WA, scot free.

So totally agree with you Seajay! :peace:

Im sure that the state must know by now that Julia is fraudulently recieving free houseing..etc.
BUT..Im in a nasty mood today so I made a phone call to the King County Housing Authority. I finally got to speak to two nice gentlemen who informed me that my report will be looked into. And I got the feeling that the second gentleman I talked to knew exactly who Julia is. I felt "heard"..and Im glad :rocker:
They are also sending me a standard complaint report form..snail mail, wow.

Good for you GateKeeper!

I came across this old article. You have all probably seen it already but, just in case...

http://www.kirotv.com/news/news/sky-metalwala-vanished-1-year-ago/nSyR4/

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Deborah Horne tried to contact Biryakova for her side of the story. Her mother emailed Horne back, saying, "I'll appreciate it if you and/or any of your colleagues will never contact me again!!! Find yourself something else to write about!!!"

Are you kidding me??? You say that someone kidnapped your son out of your car but, you don't want to talk about it??? Hello....guilty much?

No kidding! Wow! I haven't seen that article either! :what:

respectfully snipped...
I don't mean Solomon so much as lash out at her.. but confront her. He would be able too read her better than anyone else (maybe, maybe not) any way I don't want this to turn into a "what Solomon should or shouldn't do" just throwing it out there as another way to try and obtain information.
I don't know, I'm just feeling desperate for Sky and thinking what would I do. Sometimes my heart overrides my head, and I don't know how Solomon has held it together!!!

and he should wear a wire! Wish the LE would let him "try" something!?! :banghead: Anything! Angry as you are Blessed and...

:welcome6: :greetings:

also, respectfully snipped...
This precious guy needs to find his way home and soon. I pray that MM has been of help to LE. Soloman is one special man.

Just once I wish LE could get a break in this case.

I wonder if she HAS been able to help the LE in anyway. It's been over a year and I'm wondering too about hypnosis - :dunno: I don't know, maybe she's too young?

If I had just one wish this christmas it would be to know what has happened to this little guy. He is on my mind all day every day.

Lets all just have one wish this christmas. This new year will bring justice for little sky, M and solomon and that the guilty person stands trial for this crime.

Good idea UKgirl= my one wish is that there WILL be justice for Sky this coming new year!! :scale:

and Rouge Excellent letter!

Happy Holidays to you all! Hope it's a safe and fun one for you! :seeya:

back to... :lurk:

Bumping for our boy... Waiting for news. One day closer, Sky. We aren't giving up sweet child.

I have been thinking about Sky all night. I know all of my questions have been discussed before, but it's what I'm thinking about right now. While my little guy is snug in my bed (beside me), Sky is WHERE???? Julia knows! Probably her family (and possibly her closest friends) know! Why does it have to be soooo hard to get answers?

*When did she stop posting photos to her flicker account (I think it was flickr)? I hate that I didn't take screen shots of JB's photo account.

*When did she stop posting photos of Sky, but continued with photos of MM (her obvious favorite child)?

*Did JB pick-up her brothers car or did he bring it to her? IIRC, he brought it to her, but I'm not 100%.

*Either way, did he see the children (or just MM) during the car delivery/pick-up (whichever)?

*Was it common for no one to see these two beautiful children for WEEKS? Not even Halloween photos?? If she didn't leave the house WITH the kids for 2 weeks, she obviously left them home alone while she picked up the necessities (food, if any, etc).

So many questions yet she continues to hide without having to answer any questions.

Maybe if our law makers want to change our rights (to bear arms currently), they could change the 5th amendment to not include murdering and disposing of a child and refusing to tell where he/she is???? I'm fairly positive that isn't what our forefathers intended the 5th Amendment to be used for. When a child's life (or anyone's life) is in jeopardy, there should be no obstacles!!!

:twocents:

Just thinking of our little man today, as I do everyday. My heart and thoughts are with you Sky.....you will forever touch my heart and soul and NOBODY will ever forget about you sweetheart <3

A break is coming Sky baby... ♥♥ you will NOT be forgotten and justice WILL be served!!

Thinking of you, Sky!

Such a pretty picture, Bree. I wish will everything that I am that Sky was home with his Daddy enjoying this time of year.

My mind always goes back to the landfill, I think I need to go back and reread what happened with that.
I can't believe what she's gotten away with but she needs to know that we will continue to look for Sky. We love you, little man.

I thought they had that section of the landfill marked in case they needed to search it. BUT, they have never searched there because there apparently was no evidence to support him being there. Not to mention the expense of searching it. I don't care how much money it costs to search it, I would have rather them spend the money and rule it out as opposed to not searching it. :twocents:

With that said, we have no clear knowledge of WHEN Sky actually went missing. A neighbor said she believes she saw him 2 weeks prior (around October 23rd, IIRC).

Of course, I'm relying on my memory and I believe I have the flu, so I could definitely be wrong.

I just wish they would arrest her and put her lying :behind: in :jail: and maybe just maybe she'll start to talk. They have plenty to arrest her on that wouldn't interfere with Sky's disappearance. She neglected MM, to include leaving her home during a 12+ mediation just days before Sky "disappeared". According to her, she left both children home during that mediation. If she felt comfortable enough to leave them home that day, for that amount of time, it certainly wasn't a first.

BBM: Thank you for saying that and I agree. Every time I say it I get chomped out so I quit posting it. There are things she can be arrested for and I think a little :jail: time might do her some good, maybe loosen her buttoned up lip a little.
