Okay, I'm sure someone has already posted this link up but just for the sake of it I'll do it again.
Keep in mind!!! ALL OF THIS IS IMO and my thoughts.
This video, it kind of makes me disappointed at Tyler. Now in the interview the sister says that she has no idea why he would run away and that she hopes he just went on an adventure. If he went on an adventure he is by far the MOST selfish kid ever (especially for a religious one that they claim him to be.) Like I don't care if he likes going on hikes and adventures or whatever they claim he likes to do, this is a new level of crazy. I'm going to believe that he may have something mentally wrong with him if is family TRULY doesn't know why he ran away and he just up and leaves. Who the heck just leaves just for the crap of it without telling their loving family or giving them hints that they wanted to go on an adventure? More like wants to give their parents a freaking heart attack. If this were my child and he ran away for 3 weeks (or near that) oh man, he's in big trouble. I'm sure they are just saying that they are not mad because they want him to come home. But I do think that they need to make him realize how nearly impossible it is to survive on your own without being found again if you want any sort of life.
Cross out college, getting a license, a passport, a job even, a house, a family, etc. You need documentation for most if not all of those things. I think the only way int he 21st century to get out of this country is swim across the ocean, or sneak to another land. Which swimming... good luck. You may get eaten by sharks. The ocean is a scary place. Deep and Dark and Wide.
Also, anyone else wonder why it's always the sister that's on the news and not the mom or dad? Makes me wonder if they really mean that he won't be in trouble, since the dad seems like he's fine with being in front of people anyway. Paster or something like that? Yes, I know he was in the first interview that came out but not much I'll say.
The longer he's gone the more people will begin to give up on trying to search for him because they will definitely know that he doesn't want to be found. If he is doing this for fame and attention not a good way to do it. Do youtube or something to get fame. Don't run away.
Now the only thing I hope for this boy is that even if he ran away he is still alive somewhere out there. And that he will come home or at least contact his family and tell them to stop looking. (not that they actually will but I'm sure that they would be a little bit relieved to know that he's still alive.)
