Glad you brought that up, that's something that's been bothering me that I haven't seen addressed in this trial. Didn't anyone think it was odd that Travis wasn't in on that 7PM conference call that he was scheduled for??? He was a very prompt and good worker. Maybe if they had, he would have been discovered sooner. He was already dead by then.
And Gus and the rest of them still went to Cancun, knowing Travis had been found dead. I guess the memorials/funeral happened after the trip. (I know I wouldn't have been able to enjoy myself).

I think people were going on the Cancun trip at different times. I think Chris was already there when he'd heard of the murder. Mimi went to Travis' house because they were supposed to be leaving that next morning and she hadn't heard from him.

It is odd that it seems no one was disturbed by Travis' missing the call. I'd heard he was supposed to be a speaker on it. Maybe people left him voicemails about that, though? I don't know.

I don't know when Gus would have gone to Cancun, if he were going.

Were cell phone records examined thoroughly by forensics... I am just wondering if jodi perhaps sent messages from the computer to her phone and placing travis' number from the recipient. It is easy to do from the verizon site. It would look like he sent it but it def. Would not be on his cell record....and jodi could tp0ype away...would never put it past her.

It is my understanding that JA's computer's hard drive was damaged beyond ability to repair. Imagine that!

She testified that she changed her clothes but doesn't remember where. JM suggested she changed her clothes when she pulled over in the desert but she said she doesn't remember disposing of her clothes in the desert. I don't remember any testimony that she showered after killing Travis.

Just to put a quirk in this, she testified early on that her luggage was ALREADY in the car, put there by either her or Travis, and then later on when Mr. Martinez asked her what she grabbed after the murder, she says "her luggage."

hmmmmmmm

I don't think it really matters what she testified to, because we have no idea if ANY OF IT is true. She went over there with INTENT TO KILL ( bringing a knife and a gun). She was in a rage because he was taking another woman to Cancun. He told her it was over. He acknowledged sex was his reason for seeing her, he didn't trust her, called her evil and a sociopath.

She wasn't in a "fog" about the murder, she created a story (a really bogus one with the whole closet story) to try and come up with the self defense nonsense. The fact that she had minimal cuts or injuries to herself, tells us that she had him in a vulnerable position, brutally stabbed, shot and slit his throat . . . creating a LOT of blood. My guess is she showered at his place, put on clean clothes and somewhere on the road dumped the bloody clothes. She, in her own words forgot/left her shoes there. This chick lived in her car/on the road and I assume had all kinds of clothing, personal grooming and essentials with her.
MOO

I have trouble with the clean up also. I think she hurried to get out of the house before any of the roommates came home. I think she would have cleaned or removed more stuff from scene if she had more time. I also think she put the camera in the wash with bleach on purpose hoping the bleach would erase the pics. IMHO

I think she came prepared with not only her gun but a change of clothes and shoes so she could get out without leaving a blood trail.

It was probably not a good conversation, a huge argument? And as per the sex tape, they liked to have post-fight make-up sex?

She convinced Travis she will drop by to relive their fantasies together one last time before he goes to Cancun?

I fully believe that those long calls were not an exchange of pleasantries. I also think that TA was pushing off any visit to see her in CA after the escalation of heated exchanges.

I think that TA was surprised by her showing up at his house. Given what we know of his contact with her in the time leading up to his death, if she had said she was coming, he most likely would have told someone. Especially the roommate who saw the 5/26 text.

Yet another one of JA's stupid and ridiculous stories that the defense team conveniently overlooked.

* JA states, on the stand, that her suitcases (clothes) where packed in the rental car BEFORE TA's shower.

* With the brutality of the murder, JA would have been COVERED in blood, head to toe.

* How is it that she didn't have bloody clothes on when waking from her fog in the car? Sure, she showered/washed up while cleaning the scene in a fog but if that's the case, why did JA notice, per testimony, ONLY blood on her hands? Did she wash up but forget to wash her hands? WHAT?

* So, how did JA have CLEAN clothes on (since her clothes were in suitcases in the car) when she woke from that fog. Did she leave the house naked to get her clothes out of the rental and change in the street? JA states that she was dressed but missing only her shoes - which btw weren't found in TA's house.

She had to have had clothes PLANTED in the house before the killing in order to change.

Not plausible that she kept clothes at TA's house from prior relations since they were broke up and she hadn't been there since April. I won't even get into the fact that she's wearing long jogging pants and black socks. Who wears this in 100° weather late afternoon when they're suppose to be leaving to finish a road trip?

I can find so many holes in her story that screams premeditation it's ridiculous. This was just one of many.

(sorry if this has been gone over before...I'm rather slow on the uptake!)

I have always thought it was her own blood from the cut from the knife. Where would she get band aids??

Celtic, we posted about change of clothes at the same time...that means we must be right!

Thanks, Nurse. But if I go to the ALV's page, and she lists herself as being on said board, but I go to the website of that certain group, and she isn't listed as being on the board, is that rumor? Hope it's ok to ask this, and I'm not being.......well, snarky.:blushing:

Brought them with her, just in case? She knew she was going to be doing some stabbing.

Questions: What time did she leave Travis the voice mail when she was close to Hoover Dam? How long does it take to drive from Mesa to Hoover Dam?

The reason I ask is we know the room mate returned home between 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM. The attack on Travis occured around 5:30PM. That would not provide much time to do very much clean up or run a cycle of laundry.

Do you think it is possible that she was still there when the roommate came home and she waited in the master suite until he left before she cleaned up and ran a load of laundry? She did not leave any blood trail downstairs. After the brutal bloody attack I would think she would be covered in blood.

If true, then there goes this whole "fog" excuse of not remembering the stabbing.

I don't recall the mileage but she had to have left around 6:30 The room-mate was supposed to come home 6:00 to 6:30 but actually got home at 9:00 we don't know if she knew that but doesn't matter, she would be in a hurry to get to her alibi route.
JA high-tailed it to nev to make phone call (10:30PM)-RB. approx. 4 HRS
She was about 27 miles away from Hoover Dam when phone was turned on.

I keep dreaming that the computer guy that was put on Juan's list a couple weeks ago found a way to extract some info. Hey, a girl can dream...riight??

I agree. I think she left his house pristine. She planned this. Everything was in a garbage bag or the washer when she left. She cleaned up because there should have been way more blood on that bathroom floor.

Not as pristine as JA had planned, for sure. I think she thought she could just off Travis in the shower, rinse all that nasty DNA evidence down the drain while she cleaned herself off, and she'd then waltz away, no worries. Apparently she wasn't planning on him ever leaving that shower. I think what actually transpired completely threw Plan A off its tracks, and she just scrambled to "clean up" as best she could and get the h#ll outta Dodge.

Poor Travis. I can't even imagine what his final moments were like. What did he ever do in his life to deserve HER??

:twocents:

isn't there a 2nd bathroom in the house? Arias could have cleaned up in another bath. I think there were photos of the other bathroom in court.

Personally, I think she crawled right in the shower with Travis and washed him off and herself, then cleaned up the house...which created more mess for the car. Her hands had to be still bleeding. Arias had to be bleeding more than she will admit. If she cut a tendon? and I think she did. A deep cut.

OJ also didn't have any blood on him. He had only cut his fingers.

JA was wearing a sweatsuit in 95 degree weather to slaughter Travis. I suspect she had on her shorts and tank top under the murder gear. The only blood in the car would have been from her hands on which she cut them very deeply with the knife. It takes a long time for those type of cuts to stop bleeding. You know how hysterical she gets when she cuts herself...:what:
