or hairs found on the duct tape badger and from the paintbrush?

No, as Tipper mentioned, the Ramsey's closets ,floors, rooms, were vacuumed in an effort to find a source for the beaver and the other animal hairs. Nothing matched. The early claim that Patsy owned Beaver boots was shot down after her shoe closet came up with not ONE matching hair. The hi-tek shoe print, if we read through all of the " available information" was reproduced in other areas, there are at least two ,perhaps three prints, with only one showing the entire logo. There are also, prints from a type of snow boot, and a Sas comfort shoe, that have yet to be matched to anything in the Ramsey household. I did not know about the snow boot until a few weeks ago when re-reading the interviews and depos, Patsy was asked if she made a purchase of this kind of boot at a ski resort area. There are still items of evidence( exculpatory to the Ramseys) that have not "leaked".

What do the profilers say? The profilers in the Imette case seem to be very clear in suggesting more than one perpetrator. What makes the cases different?

Good point Bev.
More expensive artist paintbrush bristles are made of animal hair. Most commonly saber.but they are also made with ox,camel, squirrel, and badger hairs. So it could be a possibility that the "animal" hairs found on JonBenet's body could have came from the paintbrush bristles.

Also, more expensive makeup brush bristles are made from sable and squirrel.Maybe when the LE were asking Patsy about the makeup should used, this is what they were trying to match up?

Since they can't source any of these types of hair from the Ramsey home, could it suggest she was taken out of the house for a photo shoot and "made up"?

Possibly Sissi. But I don't think she was removed from the house, and I'm also skeptical about the photo shoot theory.

As far as the paintbrush bristles ... I can understand it not being found any where in the house, the amount is so small,it possibly could have just been contained to the paintbrush, and maybe JonBenet grabbed at it at some point, when the perb was handling it.But since that tip of the paintbrush is gone,we'll never know.

As far as the makeup brush being animal hair, and it being the animal hair found on JB's body,is a stretch. But I put it out there, because at one point the LE was asking about Patsy's makeup.

sissi,

Burke Ramsey owned Hi-Tec brand hiking boots. He admitted this to the grand jurors during his five hours of testimony. Fleet White III also testified in front of the grand jurors that Burke owned Hi-Tec hiking boots.

BlueCrab
Hey BlueCrab, sorry about this ..... but how do you know any of what BR and FW111 testified in front of the grand jurors? I thought it was all top secret and no-one was allowed to speak about their evidence outside the courtroom?

Strange that. It's pretty obvious there was isn't it?

Since, some, not all, of the BPD think Patsy is "good for it", these hairs can't be that unusual.
Narlacat, Dingo, what is the Australian translation of "good for it"? Do you guys know?

Hi Aussie
I don't think there is any translation needed.
I say 'good for it' too.

I also say 'up for it' which is kinda the same thing as 'good for it'.
I notice on Neighbours's which is shot in Melbourne, they say 'down for it'.

Sorry Narla, I'm such an oldfashioned innocent I'm none the wiser for your explanation. And I don't watch Neighbours either. Give me another clue. please?

I don't know whereabouts in Australia you live Aussie, with past comments like 'I like watching the Australian's crash into the fences'...I'm beginning to wonder if you are Australian at all!!
Are you saying you don't understand the term 'good for it'?

Honestly I don't Narla. I must just be like about 50 years older than you, well perhaps not quite that much. If you won't tell me I'll just have to ask someone else.

aussiesheila,

When Steve Thomas told Patsy Ramsey on national TV and in his book "You're good for it.", it meant "You killed JonBenet."

Steve Thomas was successfully sued by the Ramseys due to, at least in part, that comment by Thomas -- because he couldn't prove it.

Oh really, Thanks BlueCrab. I wonder what changed his mind. He sounded so sympathetic towards Patsy in the 97 interviews.

--------->>>Steve was busy adding up things, one plus one equals two, er no, one plus one equal three, no, one plus one equals a much bigger number.

I was sympathetic to the Ramseys in 1997, I could not believe and would not believe, until I started doing some deep thinking. The totals I came up with personally, broke my heart.

Their appearance on CNN, and then clamming up, and NOT doing ANYTHING CONSTRUCTIVE IN HER MEMORY, with their high position in life. They appeared as heavy helpy people in their church. Some people GO to church, but many people do not HAVE the tenets of church in their souls.

So the moral of this post is that sometimes things are NOT what people WANT us to believe and their personal actions AFTER the murder are very revealing to a thinking person.

Bless Thomas, he did the best he could do with the non cooperative Public office holders in Cliqueville USA. Unless you have ever been at the mercy of a clique, you have no room to speak.

That's a very good thought, capps.

Welcome, Bev. There were animal hairs in JB's hand, also.

Hi. This is my first post on this forum, though I used to hang out at the Laci Peterson forum.

I am a medical transcriptionist and I come across the term (and variations of the term) "chronic interstitial inflammatory infilrate" regularly. Though I have little experience with the thyroid specifically, in my experience it refers to a disease process of chronic nature. While it is possible that it can refer to chronic trauma, it seems like neither could be ruled in or out with the information availble.

I would also like to add that chronic inflammation of the vagina can be caused by chronic yeast infections or urinary tract infections as well as sexual abuse. Some people have been known to have vaginal irritation/inflammation from prolonged exposure to chemicals in a swimming pool or hot tub or even bubble bath, bath salts, etc.

The hymen can be broken by vigorous activity such as riding a bike, playing soccer, jumping on a trampolene, etc. I'm not sure about an enlarged hymen, however. Common sense says that could only be caused by sexual activity/molestation, but I don't know for sure.

Also, a friend of mine has a daughter who has chronic sinus related issues (sinusitis, ear infections, tonsillitis, etc.) and almost every time she is put on an antibiotic she gets a yeast infection. It is possible that JB had something like this going on as well.

OK, to the point. Well, I don't have one really. So far I've only been reading here a short while and don't know enough of the facts to have an opinion as to whether or not she was molested (though it certainly looks possible) let alone whodunit yet. I just wanted to throw my :twocents: in. Make of it what you will.

Clue

PS: I claim no medical expertise, but maybe more (medical) knowledge than some.

Clueless, thank you for that very sensible post. All of what you stated is certainly factual. There is no expert who can definitively state that Jonbenet was abused before the night of her death. If it was determined that she was molested before her death, Burke would have been taken out of the home. This didn't happen.
