As far as Lee lying...pfft! That whole family was wanting, hoping, steering LE to investigate JG. Cindy tried to manipulate LP with a card JG had given Caylee, trying to make it sound sinister. Lee was working on some friend of a friend who said JG had forced himself on her, where did that go??
GA tried his best to cast JG in a bad light with LE, insinuating he was hiding something because he got his dates mixed up on one phone call. Really GA? Really? That whole interview is disgusting!!
IMO, they all wanted JG's head on a pig pole and tried every way possible!

I think LA lied about that to cast suspicion on JG. Apparently, it was a plan hatched in the law offices of JB.

June 9 Casey picked up Tony from school [3300 University Blvd Winter Park, FL 32792] and took him in her car to the garage to get Tony L.’s jeep. [Tom’s Auto Repair needs address] They had Caylee with them. Went back to his apartment to drop of a vehicle, did not say which one, and then went to Subway at the corner of the Target parking lot on the corner of University and Goldenrod Rd. Yes but this was June 9th. The smell in the car started much later and Tony had not ridden in the car after this????? And maybe this is what Tony was referring to re smell in car and Lee took it anyway he wanted so as to say Tony is a flat out liar.

2) iirc, Yes Tony did ride in Casey's car,(during the time Caylee was missing) Tony was looking for a new place to live and they went to look at an apartment..sometime between June 16 and20th and iicd Casey forget her ID/DL (yet she was the driver) so she couldn't go in to see it with him...

I agree with all of this! Also, I would like to add that LE may have simply wanted to see just how far the A family would take their "half-truths" and "mis-truths" because in any city in any state anywhere in the world, there is only one reason to lie during the investigation of a murdered toddler. Because you don't want the truth to be told. JMO

Exactly, I'd think a nervous laughter wouldn't be appropriate in a deposition. I'd think many other emotions, but nervous?

I understand what you mean. But even questions about Caylee and he would laugh. It is just bizarre.

We are not talking about a normal family here at all. Certainly not with the way Lee laughs even when the name Caylee is mentioned in regards to a question. The child was killed in a horrible way and I know that Lee and the rest of the clan say she is still alive - even though, imo, they KNOW she is not. Whenever I think of her, it is with sadness. I cannot get my head around nervous laughter when it comes to Caylee - it is just too sad. He is bizarre with an attitude the size of Calilfornia.

I can't figure out why Cindy would say something like this, unless she felt that whatever she had would prove KC innocent. I know it was awhile back, but can not pint point it more than that. Yes, it was Conway. Last I remember, he had the mysterious diary and I guess was holding it for the A's. I think he either told the court this or said it in an interview, but I definitely remember him saying he had this second diary. I think I even remember Cindy saying she gave it to him for safekeeping or something like that. No word on what happened after he wasn't their lawyer anymore, though. In fact, that diary hasn't been brought up in a long time...

I re watched that video last night, thanks again everyone who pointed me in the right direction. Aside from the journal issue - Conway says he turned it over to the police, by the way - it starts at about 22:15, there was one other part of the video that really, really caught my attention. at about 17:30 LK asks something along the lines of "Do you totally believe that KC didn't do it?" The expression on George's face and his shifting around in his seat is, to me, quite telling. Can't believe I missed that first time around!

We only know what is given to us regarding the lies in that family. I know I read George's interview with Yuri and JA and at one point he says "did you know.... KC said she was assaulted a while back and ....." Apparently, she told the family she was assaulted and had filed a police report. I don't know the reason she came up with this one, but it probably had to do with money. When George asked her for the policeman's card, she said "don't worry I will handle it". Everyone tells George "don't worry, I will handle it". So George doesn't worry and no one handles anything and Caylee is eventually killed.

I believe behind the scenes are much worse than they appears - I mean the dynamics in the house. There is probably a lot more lying than we know about, a lot more covering for KC, etc.

When Lee is interviewed by the State, he implicates Ricardo, Amy and especially Jesse and Tony and his friends because they are bad people. He says he never considered KC a suspect and was surprised that she was friends with Amy who he did not considered "real" (doesn't matter that Amy led everyone to KC). Doesn't matter that she was ripped off to the tune of 700+ dollars.

So it is ok for KC to steal from her grandfather's account which is paying for his expenses and from her grandmother, and from her mother to the tune of some $40,000 (and we know LEE is aware, as he tells Tony in the car that KC is a pro at writing bad checks). It is okay that KC has given him "bad" phone numbers; it is ok that KC has given him the Blanchard Park story that made him "roll his eyes" (his words). and on and on

Do they just "forget" when they say things. Is this family just bizarre or plain stupid. Lee talks about how "stupid" the Morgan firm was. Does he realize how stupid he sounds when he gives the reasoning he does. This is not the brightest family.
