Very late in the game, in a jail house video, the prisoner "reminded" her mother that Z.F.-G. had a key to the house. If that were true, when Caylee and Z. F.-G. did not appear at the expected time, Casey would have either gone to the Hopespring house or phoned there. She would have done that long before searching Blanchard Park or looking in stores where Z.F.-G. shopped.
Even if story #2. was put in play, if Z.F.-G. had possession of a key to Hopespring, Casey would have checked to see if Caylee had been taken home.
The KEY is one of her sorriest after-thoughts and nets her nothing, only making her negligence look more abject. A non-existent key in the hands of an imaginary nanny is not a credible claim.
