I guess when you think about it chances are offender A won't be able to find a job, at least not in Florida which is where she is now so she probably will be able to take classes. Although she will have to take classes towards a degree in some career path I'm not sure if she could do this in one year. The truth is she might very well make some money off of killing her child but remember, she is only 25. If she thinks she is going to be able to ride this wave until she hits 65 shes sadly mistaken. What will she do when the dance is over and she has to go home all by herself. She might get lucky and meet a man and get married but what quality of man would have her? Shes not of the same quality of say Pamela Anderson. No trophy wife status there. Would you want a relationship with a woman like this and could you ever trust her with your children. Sooner or later she will fall back on what she knows, stealing from others to support her shopping habit. I just don't see a bright future but I'm sure from what we have learned of her from the past 3 years she is not the least bit worried about tommorrow let alone 40 years from now. I wouldn't think JB is taking her future into consideration. Hes more interested at thumbing his nose at authoritys and making his buck off her back. His strategy is to guide her through her current financial maze, what does he care if she has set up a 401K. We have all seen what this girl does when left to her own devices. I would hope she has learned something useful during the last 3 years but I'm not holding my breath!

According to a media report some time ago (I don't have a link sorry .. but I do remember it quite clearly), some guy down here in Oz offered her 'a place to stay'. (Do I recall he wrote her a letter in jail as well?)
Now, I'm a male and for the life of me I just can't see what any man finds particularly attractive about her. Let alone even consider a relationship with the felon!
Then again, I suppose if you guys would like to send her down for a while, I'm sure a little good old fashioned Outback justice could be arranged :innocent:

FCA is special. She gets a free pass from working during probation so she can get her GED. Bet this will burn many a non-GED'd parolees... What gives here?

That's just it Pip - this is Baez BS - his speciality - he has gotten ahead of himself - IF she can't find a job, she can apply to the Court to get permission to attend school, but the DOC said yesterday she had not done that. Sooo - she needs to look for a job, and it is my opinion this could be done quietly and I also think she could find one if she wanted to. After the years with her parents and then the DOC, this gal has gotten used to being looked after without having to work for it.

If she is on some kind of SS and taking online courses, somewhere, somehow, she will offend again because she will want money. Unless of course she has an interview or pics to sell.

After yesterday LG does not want to discuss pics at all..:blushing:

Apparently it is a Florida Statute that all probationers are required to complete their GED - who knew? Is it like Canada where a mature student can study and write one exam to get it?

I think the DOC knows that the Public is interested in seeing that OFFENDER CA does what she is supposed to do. No cutting corners. I'm just happy that she is thwarted from doing what she wants, at least for a year. By then she will hopefully be a distant memory and and infamy will be replaced by apathy. Then her true colors will come out again. I just hope no one gets hurt when they do.

I'm sure the DOC is keeping it private to cover their own behinds in case someone attempts some crazy form of vigilante justice. Unfortunately, it does spell special treatment for KC any way you look at it.

What Id like to ask JB is why didnt she get her GED/study while she SAT in jail for 3 yrs?
It didnt seem like she had any work duties, etc in jail.
She mustve sat aound and fantasized about being JB's new assistant when she got out:floorlaugh:
Now she sits around somewhere fantasizing about her 500K pic shoot?
And I wouldnt doubt it if she has a FB set up by now since she has computer access.

LOL Aedrys - I think Baez is already well skilled at telling a tall tail all on his own - he could very well have thought this one up himself just to whitewash the probation on behalf of his client - a bit like Geraldo referring to FCA's check and ID fraud as "kiting" - kiting was a very different thing between accounts before the days of electronic banking..

yes, you can get a GED by just taking the exam, if you pas you get it.

There is no doubt in my mind she is thinking she can bypass this after all, she is casey-Im so special-o-marie by haing an interview, sell pics. I hope we all have seen all of Caylees pics. The thought of her selling more makes me :sick:

What FCA does for a job does not concern me as much as ensuring the persons charged with monitoring and enforcing the terms and conditions of her probation do their job and do it right. No more mistakes. Or hand-holding. Sheesh.

No, she didn't have any work duties - she was in protective custody - lockdown - 23 hours a day. But that is no excuse for not taking courses. Unless she couldn't get the free ones because she was being held without bail awaiting trail - I have no idea what the rules are. Aside from her being too lazy of course.

Yes, so he did IIRC natsound. Whether she actually did or not is the question though.
She does seem to have had plenty of time to draw teenage girl type stuff and write about her dream to go to Ireland. NONE of which could be considered constructive.

Oh Geez - based on the verdict - do you really think there is a market for them now? I dunno - I get the same reaction just thinking about pics of Caylee under these circumstances, knowing who is selling them. Now if she had been found guilty, then there would have been a market for them IMO. But not now - blech!

I was thinking about this 'secret probation' last night and realized that while I have been so irritated about her getting any special treatment, there is another side to this that makes it a little easier for me to accept. Could have even entered into HHBP's thought process over this ruling, since he's involved in OC's court finances, etc.

All county and city governments are struggling to stay within very bare bone budgets these days, and we've all seen what this family has cost Orange County's. If her location is unknown, at least one police dept. won't have to waste precious man hours or other resources on her useless self. Their limited resources are much better used to protect their own citizens - 99.99% of who deserve that protection more than FCA. We've seen the media circus that surrounds her, and I guess I just realized I don't want the expenses of that thrown on some unknown and probably understaffed dept - just so JB can continue to try resurrecting what he initially thought was going to be his pot at the end of the rainbow.

Her 'protection' is also, and more importantly, protection for some town/ some city that doesn't deserve this. Not knowing is aggravating, and I do want to see her miserable existence for myself, but when I weigh that against the costs, maybe I've just been looking at it from the wrong angle. If keeping her location unknown benefits others, keeps JB from cashing in, or prevents her from being treated as a celebrity in the media (and we all know how much she enjoyed that), then maybe I can live with this after all?

I don't know if educational opportunities are offered in county jail.

Like you said they just want to make sure she's not getting a free ride. If it's in some sort of rule that you can take classes in lieu of working due to 'circumstances', then so be it. It wasn't worded that way by Baez's comments and then it wasn't clarified during the press conference, thus the reason for the emails.
