If I was a family member I would want every square inch of land possible searched. I realize that is not feasible, but I do believe LE could of done alot more land searches than they did.

I very much agree with you.Hopefully they will do them now.
 
Haleigh is not dead.
She will be found.
Do not give up looking!
She is hidden, but, IMO it is in a safe place.
I wish the family would break their silence and help us help them find HaLeigh.
 
I so want to believe she is alive, I have to admit as the days go by I am struggling with other thoughts of Haleigh no longer being with us and I do not like those thoughts at all.

That door has opened a crack for me also. But it is more than balanced by the strong impression given out by LE that they suspect a family abduction. And, even though this is a living hell for the innocent family members, it is likely that Haleigh is in a safe environment with someone who DOES care about her and for her. So she may be basically content, believing that she had to take a vacation from her mom & dad & brother for a while for some trumped up reason. This is how I choose to picture her.
 
Who ever did this would love for us to believe she is dead and with no body found no arrest. HaLeigh is still alive and needs everyone to keep looking and stirring the pot of where she might be. Look in our own home towns ask anybody you know if they have heard of and seen this child. Make up a flyer for your local grocerie store and put it up to educate those that haven't heard that this child was taken and is still missing and believed to be alive and being hidden. It could be your neighbor down the street. DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!

I've been doing that on and off too. It's interesting to see what was posted in the beginning in those 20 somthing general Haleigh threads. Lots of good sleuthing on both sides of the family was done.
 
Definitely not giving up!!! I have put fliers up at all the Walgreens, CVS, medical clinics, medical office parks, pediatrician offices, and pediatric floors at all the hospitals in my area. I just have my moments that doubt creeps in, then I have to shake that off.

I agree, she is alive.
 
That was why I joined. The work that was being done was impresive,but, all good things come to an end. (as if directed in this case)

I know you think that Haleigh wandered off that night, but did you know she only had one pair of shoes and they were in the MH? It was Feb and the grass was wet with dew and cold at night. The roads were not all paved, some of them are gravel and just dirt or sand in and around the MH parks. Just some thing else to consider.

That is not true, that's just a rumor she only had one pair of shoes.

I'm not giving up on Haleigh either.I am looking for her both ways.To bring her home safely or find justice for Haleigh.

texasmommy I love your heart and enthusiasm, I just can't bring myself to agree. You seem like you are so convinced that she is alive. Can I ask you...member to member why you think it? I won't ask you for links or anything like that, your post is good enough for me, but, why do you think she is alive and who do you think is keeping her? I would love to have an ounce of hope.
 
If I may please say I read somewhere there is suppose to be an update tonight on HLN CNN Headline News about a few things.No 2nd round table meeting,an investogator?thinks Haleigh is living in Tennessee ( I feel they should be looking for Haleigh alive and not alive in Tennessee)and other things.So maybe something is going on.

TJ Hart posted an update saying that there is an update tonight on CNN at 5:10 pm (EST). It's slated for a 10 minute story. TJ said he will be part of the panel.

ETA -- I wonder if TJ means HLN Prime News?
 
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Teresa Neves, Ronald`s mom, said she had asked authorities numerous times to search this area and was reportedly told that they had. So why didn`t this come up sooner? Did they search this area but without cadaver dogs?

DOYLE: Well, all we know right now, Jane, is that the cadaver dogs today directly linked to this search that we are seeing right this minute. They started. Investigators were on scene around 5 p.m. They set up the whole scene. They blocked it off, brought in the lights, brought in the tarp, brought in the gloves, and have been picking through piece by piece for the last two hours of anything that`s remotely significant. Trash, trash bags. They are rummaging through whatever they possibly can to see if anything is leading to any tips in Haleigh`s disappearance.

elle I have lost a child and know that these two parents do not act like they believe HaLeigh is dead nor are they searching for her or doing anything close to normal for a person to not know where their child is or if she is dead or alive. My HO is this is a family abduction and the only side of HaLeighs family that would have cause to abduct Haleigh (even without JR.) with no forced entry, leave the kitchen light on, the back door ajar and possible changed Haleighs shirt is the Shefield and Griffis side. The foot print is also coincidental along with the make shift camp (New and hand made items)? I can see a well planned crime with a few indicators that told Ron alot that night and confused LE for awhile. The fact that the side show started soon after with the custody issues is also enlightening to say the least, but, will not claim it was the sole reason for this families motive, but,will say it was briliant to have a probono attrney come to your aid and initiate a DCF investigation and paralelled bus ride and speed bump count while LE was trying to investigate a abduction of this families child.
If HaLeigh is found dead I will say who ever did it better find peace with their GOD.
