I missed the show. Does this mean they implied the intruder was of mixed Hispanic origin? And if you have enough markers to rule out Caucasian, shouldn't you be able to know whether those remaining markers are of African or Asian origin? It sounds like they were pointing at every race the Ramsey's aren't.

Yeah, they seemed to imply that. Trouble is, the "expert" was outed as a fraud last week in a Denver courtroom.

It will be interesting to see how well the A&E special did in the ratings. This particular special didn't get all that much publicity, but it could give us a better idea of how well the CBS shows are going to do. My guess is 2.5-3 million. Believe it or not, I am not pulling that estimate completely out of my *advertiser censored*. LOL. I typed up my reasoning but I sound loony so I'm just going to wait until the numbers come out. And if my estimate is accurate, I'll do a "This is how I figured it out...I swear I'm not psychic" post.

Thank you for posting this. He is very articulate, and I feel this is an appropriately timed statement given all the recent media attention. I hope that their years of investigation are able to bring a resolution to this very tragic case. I remember when it happened--long before I had a child of mine own. Becoming a parent has given me a different perspective on Jonbenet's case and all cases involving children. There is an added feeling of "this could be my child" each time a tragedy unfolds. It makes me so sad. What a heartbreaking case.

In her first-ever television interview, former Boulder, Colorado police department detective Jane Harmer tells DATELINE NBC correspondent Josh Mankiewicz that she agreed with the grand jury recommendation to indict JonBenét Ramsey's parents, saying: "I think that the grand jurors heard the evidence and came up with that conclusion and I would agree with their conclusion."

The "Dateline NBC" special also features an interview with Bob Whitson, a retired detective sergeant at Boulder PD who was at the Ramsey house on the day the murder investigation began. Whitson is an advocate of the "Intruder Theory," as some close to the case believe the murderer broke into the Ramsey's house.

"The behavior at the scene does not match up" with the Ramseys, Whitson tells Dateline. "It matches up a sexually sadistic person and a psychopath."

"Dateline NBC: Who Killed JonBenét?" includes crucial case documents that have never before been made public, and the first TV interview with Tom Haney, a former Denver police department detective who was brought in by the Boulder district attorney's office to interview Patsy Ramsey.

That's not even the part that got me the worst. The worst for me was when they tried to blame JB's vaginal "issues" on vaginitis. The girl had NO HYMEN LEFT! You're telling me a simple inflammation would do THAT?!

I've never heard of another murder of a little girl where her hymen was eroded as JBR's was. The fact that the documentary last night was insinuating that the condition of JBR's vagina was "common in little girls" is wrong and insulting, IMO.
