white, I had respect for Lee until his deposition. He sounded just like Casey... saying completely unbelievable things like they were believable. Remember he said someone got into Casey's computer and changed her password, and directed her to meet them here, there, Target, etc. for no good reason? He believed the Blanchard Park story, even though he was also fed a Sawgrass story? I was embarrassed for him just watching him.

Yes, I believe his words are chosen FOR him very carefully when it comes to side issues. I guess when you're dealing with a habitual liar (assuming KC told him that someone got into her computer and changed the pw, etc.) you pick and choose what you're going to believe from them or believe them until you have reason not to, which is probably the case in this instance.

Other than embarrassment, which he's had to the enth degree with all the accusations his sister has made about him, I seriously doubt that he will lie when it gets down to the nitty gritty in the murder case, where if he did commit perjury he would be in legal trouble.

Saying that he BELIEVED her when she said this or that and lying FOR her are 2 different things altogether.

I think he was lying for her when he said he believed everything she tells him. If it had been a guy down the street, he wouldn't have lied for the guy down the street. But he'd lie for his sister.

mamabear,i think you're right,he does not say he believes everything she says, he says he believes everything she tells him.do you think she told him the truth

Sure seems like it to me. He also said he and she were "above everybody else". I think (in his head) that she doesn't even have to voice the words. They take it for granted that the other knows what happened. Since he knows her so well---in his head---that is her telling him, so therefore he believes it. She has told him even if only by him figuring it out. He knows---she said it. Know what I mean?

I am torn between he needs to cover his own tracks and family loyalty. I finally went with he needs to cover his own tracks. I don't know why, but I feel Lee has known more all along than he has let on. I don't think he had a hand in Caylee's murder, but I think Casey told him the entire story when she was out on bond.

I think he's walking the line with how things are worded.

What he WOULD say is he believes everything she tells him. What he would LEAVE OUT is "until I find out she lied about it".

Here he is starting a new family (btw, do we know if his baby has been born?)

Forgive me for being a little behind in this whole mess but I had become so completely disgusted with so much of the people directly involved in this case that I backed off of following it for awhile.

Was it ever confirmed that Mallory was pregnant or was it just a rumor. If indeed she was/is pregnant she'd have either had the baby by now or I'd think you'd hear CA/GA/LA speak of a pregnancy/baby and I haven't heard one word. I just find it extremely odd if she is/was indeed pregnant/had a baby.

I agree. He is his mothers son- he will do what she wants, just like George. Bet on it.

Nope, it was never confirmed. She never looked pregnant to me.

Money? Family has made 1/4 million already?????
Afraid of Cindy
And 'what did LEE do last summer'? (LE said)

Lee's comment to Annie about not lying for Casey wasn't a flipflop. The more truth Annie tells, the easier it is for the Anthony's to implicate her. Because, I believe Annie knows a snotload of stuff she has not revealed for fear of accessory charges being lobbed at her. Do I think she overtly helped Casey kill Caylee? No way. But do I think that Annie is the source for the Zanny business, the drugs, the whathaveyous? Yes. Annie's lies are to protect Annie, and in protecting Annie, will offer some protectioin for Casey. If she reveals those lies, she'll implicate herself and they can say "Annie did it!!"

Like others have said, I think the Anthony's had hope in the beginning that Caylee was alive. They thought Casey had gotten herself into trouble with someone and that she was lying out of fear. I think that is why Lee told Annie not to lie for her. Casey wouldn't talk and hopefully Annie knew who she had been with or stolen from or was doing drugs with. He didn't want Annie to lie if it was going to lead to finding Caylee.

I still think they lie for her out of a control issue, not some deep seated love and devotion. Lee and George let Cindy control them, and Cindy hates LE and the state having more control than she does.

I think that I am gittin the hang of the A's speech thang. In a backwards sort of way. Did LA say, "I beleive e-thang my sister says" or did he say, "I beleive e-thang my sister tells me"? There is a difference. Seems like he said the latter.

Well I don't get the A's speech thang at all...........are you saying that KC has "told" him something that others have not heard? TIA

Aha! Now I gotcha. I'd still call it a lie though... there's no way he believes all her crazy stuff, even the first time he hears it. He wouldn't have made it this far in life if he was that stupid.

Does this help?

I voted other.

On July 15-16 and during the first few weeks, I think Lee and the Anthony's had some hope for Caylee. I believe all of Casey's family would have thrown Casey under the bus to get Caylee back.

But that changed.

One thing I think LP was right about was that there was a difference in the family mood after the preliminary forensics came back. After hope for Caylee was lost, the Anthony family circled the wagons to protect the only "girl" Cindy has left.

I think some of George's and Lee's flip-flops are to protect Casey because they love her. But, I also think they are also protecting Cindy from further losing it (because they love Cindy). I think they are doing what they are doing to protect the fragile part of Cindy they see as wounded and going down.

Not saying Cindy is or isn't manipulating. Just saying I see males protecting their women.

:clap: Well said!! Couldn't agree more.

LMAO - Now would CA call that a "mistruth" or a "half-truth"? Or maybe simply "the truth" because there is nothing actually false in the statement?

Has anybody considered that these children KC and LA had to develop kid code language to survive mom's controlling and maybe incessant questions. Kids do this to some extent and can speak to each other with gestures and looks that parents don't pick up on. Or he is just saying that he and KC are both smarter than both parents put together in his opinion?
