I was just thinking about CH's possible other locations he went to between 7/2 and 7/8 - and I'm wondering whether he took a route near one of their former residences. They used to live in Plymouth, which is on the eastern edge of the state 2-3 hours from Windsor, at least until CH was out of high school. It looks like BH also has former addresses in Valders WI and Allendale MI as well as in Plymouth and White Lake, with that Plymouth address checking out for what looks like the whole immediate family - so they've lived there fairly recently.

Interesting thinking. CH has shown to use known (to him) locations to dispose of evidence.

Charging complaints IMO show a potential for many people to be in harm's way. What if police hadn't collected the Ring camera evidence prior to his coming looking for it? What if the friends had walked out to the woodline after him? What if the AC appointment came a few days earlier? What if a police officer pulled him over for a minor infraction with a body in the car while he was driving all over? Did he have his gun in the backpack while he was out???

BBM. The gun is similar to an AK-47. It wouldn't fit in a backpack. (photo of similar firearm from wikipedia)

New details shared in the criminal complaint shed light on authorities’ continued investigation into Bart’s death and Krista’s whereabouts. Here is a timeline of the investigation, according to officials.

July 1:
The day Chandler Halderson said he last saw his parents.

July 2:
The day Chandler said his parents, Bart and Krista Halderson, left for a Fourth of July weekend trip to White Lake, Wisconsin. Chandler claimed his parents left around 5 a.m. with a couple he couldn’t name.

A criminal complaint filed against Chandler said Krista was supposed to be at work that day. She had not called in to say she’d be gone, which a coworker said was unusual. A coworker and another person stopped by the Haldersons’ home and saw both cars still in the garage. They met Chandler at the side door of the garage, who had just gotten out of the shower and had gauze or a bandage over a big toe.

Chandler told the two that he had cut his toe on broken glass after breaking the fireplace while throwing a ball to the family’s dogs, and said there was “blood everywhere” inside the house because of the cut. Neither person said they saw blood inside the home.

"Defense Attorney Catherine Dorl renewed her protest to Chandler Halderson's having been kept in custody for a week without charges being brought against him, arguing that much of the evidence in the complaint was available in the past week. Dorl also highlighted that Chandler Halderson has no criminal record and among other achievements in the community has been an Eagle Scout.

"This is an ongoing case," Raymond (district attorney) argued. "Ms. Dorl brings up Boy Scouts and harped on him being an Eagle Scout on Monday, well, in this case, you're going to learn that there is evidence of rope and knots being tied such as that an Eagle Scout might do.""
