I was trying to remember a case of a girl being abducted and her mom and brother killed. Was that the Cummins case?

No, the Cummins case was an obsesssed teacher who groomed a vulnerable student into a relationship and he fled with her. They were both found alive hiding in a commune. He’s since pleaded guilty.

I'll admit: as with Daniella Vian case (although that got squirrely) - without more facts...what can we go on..?

I don't even know if anything was stolen: I understand that there was not...but...not sure

We don' t know what was said, heard on that 911 call.....

We don't know what shift James worked (if any)

It's tough to keep sleuthing under these circumstances...

One thing: why in heck did LE go to the casino, first things first, so to speak?
Either family told them that is where he had spent evening....OR
there was solid evidence he was there...
possible that LE figured perps could easily blend in at the casino...depending on how busy, large the parking lot was....

Anyway.....it's difficult to keep posting when you're up a brick wall of lack of information.........
I think part of the reason they went to the casino was because of the huge amount of camera coverage. Jmo

Jayme’s dad was 56, right? So he could have friends and acquaintances with kids in their 20s. Perhaps an older boy got to know her that way and felt protective or whatever, rather than online. Random thought, not implying we should sleuth dad’s friends kids. Just thinking that a shy, quiet girl could have a larger circle of acquaintances that way.

I think thats a really good observation. Thanks for posting

I know this sounds crazy, but I feel like I won’t be okay if this sweet girl doesn’t come home soon! I have found myself worrying and hoping like I would for a friend of my dayghter. I worry if she’s being taken care of and fed well, I hope she’s (against all odds) with someone being kind to her.

I hoping Jayme did not know her parents were deceased; maybe hurt, but not dead. That way she knows her parents and other people are looking for her. Hope goes along way in stressful situations.

JMO and life

Thats right. I watched something about it recently and the name was familiar. He took her from place to place for a while before they were sighted.

Kyle T. Jaenke-Annis, 32, homeless, has been charged with burglary of a building or dwelling.
The criminal complaint states that on Friday, Au- gust 10, 2018, at approxi- mately 1:00 a.m. Deputy Fick was dispatched to a trailer residence, based on a report to dispatch that a sub- ject named Kyle had been breaking into her residence.
Deputy Fick made con- tact with the female subject and her husband, and Jaen- ke-Annis at the residence. Jaenke-Annis was wearing a woman’s dress and ap- peared to have a woman’s tank top on underneath the dress at the time Deputy Fick made contact with him.

Snipped for copyright but it’s well worth reading the entire article considering the clothing belonged to a 16 year old girl.

You’re right, it is strange. I was thinking, with the doors unlocked, and the cameras set up, if Jayme escaped and found her way home, they would know immediately and be able to help her faster. That’s a long shot too, but it’s all I can come up with.

It has occurred to me before that there is a remote possibility that Jayme ran (probably into the woods) and was not found by the perp(s), and that she is in hiding, perhaps with the help of a friend. She could be scared to come home, either because she doesn't know who to trust, or if the perp was after her (whether online predator or otherwise) she might feel or think others would feel that she was responsible for what happened. If she is in hiding, she might try to return to the house to get clothes or other belongings.

If it's still OK to comment on what the Sheriff released today regarding K.J., I have some ideas which are valid going by what we know of his " quirks".

Looking at this from HIS point of view, I believe he is a person who likely can be manipulated and used very easily.
Why?

1) He may have a paraphilia he feels compelled to continue ( the stealing of female's clothing). He may be threatened by stronger males with bodily harm if he's a person who is not fully integrated into society, which I believe is the case.
2) He has been declared as having a homeless status in the summer ( August). This degree of poverty also makes him a vulnerable target for a hard criminal.
3) It's getting cold in WI from what posters say. He'd need shelter.
4) It's obvious that this is a marginally functioning person who is apparently not known to be overtly violent at this time.

However, the point I think we must all consider is that someone else, a larger or stronger male, or someone who's offering him the basic necessity of shelter and electricity and some food, MAY BE the killer and abductor.

K. J. may not even be aware that he's a patsy for the perp. It's likely happened before in our history. A marginalized person with mental disorders or " quirks" ( I don't want to offend anyone) is easily used and subjugated by a stronger and smarter person.
K.J. could have been set up to go to the laundromat with dirty clothes which are evidentiary and the Closs house by the mastermind. We don't know.
I do think it needs to be considered that psychological illness may be at work in more than just this man's world. Two unwell people may have collided and what we may be seeing is LE's lack of understanding of how a " quirk" can make a man very vulnerable to a stronger, more brutal man.

Or the FBI may be completely on top of this and has another person or people in their sights. I don't think this is totally randomized, and I don't think LE would have left the patio door open ( and I won't mention " Patio Door" again, I promise).

I want to know what was recovered from the laundromat he went to. His clothing? Someone else's? A little girl's? Again, assuming that he was sent to the laundromat on an errand for someone who has money and some sort of control over him, which I outlined above.

I’m borrowing this from the late, great Foxfire on WS. It’s from his FB page.

“The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.”-Albert Einstein

That’s why we’re all here. To do something about it.
Maybe he’ll send us a clue.

I found websleuths in 2010 or 2011 when Hailey Dunn went missing. Followed that everyday here for years! Until her remains were found. Sad ... I hope Jayme is found and is able to get through this.

Yet still no arrest, right? I have bad luck...many of the cases I followed for a long time remain unsolved...Haleigh Cummings, Kyron Horman, Ayla Jennings, Jennifer Kesse, Maura M...just to name a few. Bodies never found, no arrests. With Ayla especially, there should have been an arrest long ago...

Anything is possible. It’s hard to imagine what a 13 year old would do if put in to your scenario, and then the fact that not all 13 year olds would do the same thing.

Ugh. So it appears KJ has been cleared in the murder and busted for burglary. How low can one get? Well, I'm confident this person doesn't represent the rest of the community who have been so involved and caring in finding Jayme.

And LE is still searching for the two cars, correct? No additional news for now. Where are you Jayme??

Trying to think outside the box... Is there any chance that one of the parents might have been a whistle blower, and that angered someone? Has anyone come across any past issues at Jenny-O (perhaps issues with the health department, or attacked by PETA?) Meat processing plants have been known to have issues, and if one or both of the parents "ratted" someone out - and later the someone found out they were responsible for the tip?

I'd like to point out something here which, again, I think LE may not be considering.
K.J. is reported to be 5'11', 175 pounds per the police arrest record.

He MIGHT fit into REALLY STRETCHY women's XL clothing without ripping some seams apart.
We know he is either delusional or lied to police or both ( he could be delusional and still have enough presence of mind to lie).

However, it seem LE ( or we) are overlooking the OBVIOUS. He wants to wear WOMEN'S CLOTHING.
There should have been a dresser and closet full of WOMEN'S CLOTHING in the Closs house.

Denise Closs wasn't overly large but she was what I'd call large boned. Why didn't dude go to HER clothing in HER closet??

Think about it. Jayme was 5 feet, 100 pounds. If K.J. could read, he already knew her tiny size from the " Missing" poster descriptions.

This is totally not what a crossdressing thief would do!!! It is a fixation on JAYME I believe.

I’ve been trying to keep up with this thread, but I know I’ve missed a lot. I feel inclined to say this although I’m not sure if it is relevant.

I’m a very cautious person. I always keep my door locked and would never answer the door to a stranger and certainly without knowing who was on the other side. People think I’m overly cautious. I live in a really good area of a high crime city. One evening I was expecting my in-laws at around 7:30 (it was already dark). I was home alone and heard a knock around 7:15. I opened the door without looking, without even thinking. I assumed it was my in-laws. It was NOT my in-laws. It was a shady salesman with a girl he seemed to be training with him.

My point is, after realizing I had just opened the door without knowing who was on the other side, I couldn’t believe I had done that. My husband couldn’t believe I had done this.

If Mr. Closs did work late and DC and Jayme were home expecting him, perhaps they opened the door to someone assuming it was him. They might not have known precisely when he would be home, but had a general idea. If Mr. Closs came home without a key (not uncommon for us for whatever reason), and the door had been locked with the perp inside, he could have kicked the door open.

I’m not sure if this would line up with how his body was positioned; however, it would explain him parking so far down the driveway.
