This is moving fast. I believe I had 3 posts in the last thread and probably none in the one before.
I have difficulty believing this is a complete stranger or a random act. (I'm not ruling it out as stranger things have happened.) I don't believe this person (or persons) knew Jayme that well if she was the target. If they did and they did their homework what about Jayme being alone at a school bus stop? She is a cross country runner, so does she run to stay in shape or for fun? Many runners wear ear buds with an iPod or phone to listen to music and that would be ideal for an abduction, if Jayme was the target. Taking Jayme at the school bus stop might not alert anyone and if successful she might not be noticed as missing until the end of the school day. Even if the school calls home or parent's work that still gives the abductors more than 4 minutes of a head start.
The home invasion approach - if Jayme was the target - baffles me. I know I've said it before, I would have to be VERY desperate to invade a home not knowing the layout or what guns might be in the home. Maybe they have been there before. As a friend or relative of someone visiting. Someone involved in home maintenance such HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical and appliance delivery. (I would imagine LE has tried to track down every such instance in the last year or so.)
I partially believe this was all about Jayme and she was the ultimate target. But I can just as easily believe this was revenge for something - either real or perceived - and the abduction of Jayme was part of the revenge act.
