I think if LE thinks she was there at the time of the murder, and specifically give the 911 call and other evidence as the reason, then there is no reason to doubt them. This is one thing they would want to be sure of. I'm thinking the only reason they mentioned the call as being evidence that she was present is because they hear her voice on the call. Imo

Who would identify that it is her voice?

BBM, do you have a link for that? All I've ever heard him say is commotion. Not saying you are wrong, just would like to see exactly what he said. As for the media, I see misinformation from them on a daily basis so I'm only listening to what the sheriff says at this point.

Read one of the first articles written. Yelling... and the word "help", per Sheriff. (2nd from bottom on that page) This was before the first PC and all the involvement with the FBI, etc. I am sure they told him to keep quiet about it.

UPDATE: Sheriff: Missing girl was in home at the time of the murders

I disagree, because I think if i just rang and rang (as it would if the line was cut), then I would assume the dispatcher would note that there was no answer in the call log as opposed to noting it was disconnected.
Agreed. The dispatcher could not have noted “disconnected” if there was simply no answer. Only when a phone has been disconnected by a telephone company will you get the “disconnected “ message.

They've also said the 911 call is inaudible. So what other evidence?

This is awful, but it someone cut and spliced a recording so I could hear just my daughter's voice (even if I could not hear what she was saying or screaming) I'm sure I could identify that it was my daughter.
I'm not convinced the sheriff is being truthful when he says nothing can be heard that's of value. He has the freedom to use any strategy to hold back the truth or mix the truth with fiction if it will help solve the case and bring justice to the victims. (And that's what I think he's doing.)

Same page as previous post, screenshot added to show where to find the video on the page. Videos featured just to the right of the article at the top. The 3rd from the bottom when you scroll down through the videos is about what was heard on the 911 call. The one pictured with the 2 female newscasters. The initial reports coming in are also in that archive of videos. IMO a lot was revealed in the first 24 hours before the FBI got involved and they started doing the PC instead of just news interviews.

Yes, that's a big problem. But I would think she definitely would have her phone with her in her room. It's like an appendage for teenagers these days. Imo
My daughters are 14 and 17. Their cell phones are brought upstairs (bedrooms are downstairs) by 10:00 every school night, 11:00 on weekends. I'm stricter than most parents, and that's fine with me. It is not good for them to be their phones at all hours of the night. They also know that cell phones are not private. I have the option of looking at their phone any time I feel it is necessary. Will this absolutely prevent them from getting into trouble with their phones? No. But it will go a long way in doing so in my opinion.

Trying to bite my tongue with every casino comment, but at some point I have to say something...

I’ve worked in casino operations since 1994, I’m actually sitting in my office at a casino now as I type this. I’m on camera every minute of every day from the moment I pull off the highway until I leave property. The only areas that don’t have camera coverage are the bathrooms and the guests hotel rooms.

Everything I do and everything the casino does is highly regulated. The games are fair, cards and dice are inspected dozens of times per day, machines are precisely calibrated to regulated payback percentages. IDs are checked, taxes are withheld and reported, we work alongside both DCI and state gaming regulators who ensure that everything is legit. Everything. If I get a DUI tonight I’ll lose my license and my job tomorrow morning.

I can absolutely promise you the casino is not involved. Even in the very limited circumstances where it would be possible to owe the casino money (bad checks are the most common), the casino’s lawyers will handle it. Period.

Yea, I've ruled out the idea that this had anything to do with the casino. A casino is one of the worst places to commit a crime or even to look for a victim. Between the all the cameras and security you are asking to get caught. Would have been solved within 24 hours.

Ok, well then I guess I can go back to my original opinion that the killer disconnected the lines. The reasons given were so convincing that I gave up that theory almost a month ago.
But why would you note “disconnected” rather than “no answer” if it just rang and rang? I don’t believe a 911 operator would note it was disconnected unless she had proof of actual disconnection. If the lines were cut, it would just ring and ring.

Was Jayme a deep sleeper? Some people can sleep through fire alarms and all sorts of noise. Would someone have seen her and decided to take her as she was asleep or just waking up to the chaos?
Last night wr tried a trial run. I had someone else time me. She slammed the front door (door being kicked in JC shot). I was in bed, I sat up, jumped out of bed ( a person would be slightly startled), I ran in the dark out to the living room, stopped quick, ran back to the bedroom (where my cell is plugged in right next to me).

Now with my cell I have a PIN I enter (so if my cell is stolen again they can't get in in it). In my panic I tapped the wrong pin twice. I dialed a fake 911 ca'll.....

That alone took 57 seconds BEFORE the 911 call was made and connected.

There are a lot of anomolies that we are privy to yet. Did DC have a PIN or some code to open her cell. Who's fingerprints are on the cell?

And add this: I can't everremember my daughter's PIN. (let alone if I was in a panic) and I can't use it to dial 911. Her cell you have to open to dial 911.

A lot can transpire in 57 seconds.....

Thanks for sharing this. I didn't think myself that the casino was involved. I thought one of two scenarios could have taken place:

1. looking at video footage of cars driving by around the times before and after the crime was committed.

2. to rule out that either Denise or James were at the casino that night, or just before the murders happened. As in, maybe James came home to the murderers already being in the home, maybe he tried to kick down the door and when he succeeded, they shot him right away.

Yep. She probably got the dee-doo-dee sound "this number is no longer in service" message.
