Just to throw into the mix...

WS is probably the #1 site for unsolved crimes. What are the chances that the abductor/killer could be accessing WS w/o signing in OR having signed in as a member, collecting info as to what is known? Just something to think about before you go to sleep tonight...
Without WS he can just google the case and "collect info on what is known"

I have been thinking about Jayme today as Christmas approaches and can't imagine the feelings her family must be going through
As I thought about this case there are a few things that just make me sit back and think why?
First thing is sheriff Fitz saying that they don't believe Jayme is a suspect but that she is Missing and Endangered. Why not just say abducted . 2nd Sheriff Fitz saying Jayme did not resist -how does he know that-was it something heard on the 911 call or is it because nothing seemed to be disrupted in the house. 3rd- why did they have video cameras on the house ? Who were they anticipating would be coming there. Surely a Perp would have no reason to. If it were not for the sicko panty thief this would have been an unknown
4th. Why do the aunts speak to Jayme in the interviews pleading for her to come home. Do they think she has a choice?
5th Why no urgency for a search? Maybe they truly have nothing to go on but with their quick response to the scene and all the LE, FBI involved there has to be something
This is just so strange

I have tried to figure out what would make the firearm so different that it wouldn't be easily guessed or at least good odds of being guessed because sheriff said they were looking for and only the killer would know. could that firearm be a foreign made and used or something firearm? something makes it not common I think with his statement.

And what would this person find out? That we collectively know next to nothing?

Pretty much my thought too. Hey perp, if you're out there, drop us a hint! Something to get us talking! :p

Trying to imagine any possible positive (from the bad-guy's standpoint) to this, the only thing I can come up with is if someone actually does hit on a right answer they could raise some arguments to it, to redirect us off the right track.

But have you found anything about this case here that isn’t available anywhere else (other than speculation)?
Speculation is good. Our insight and different ideas could give an indication of how close the investigation is in solving the case. Sorry if you feel we are contributing nothing.

I worry more about giving ideas to the next one that is in the planning stage with what can be found here.

I enjoy it here. it does cross my mind when posting though that it is like 101 ideas on how to commit the more perfect crime sometimes.

I must have missed something regarding the firearm. What did Sheriff say that indicated it was not a common firearm.

I don't have the link or exact quote but to the effect of not telling what kind was used because only the killer would know. common ones I would think would have a fair chance at just being guessed.

The posters the family has posted say kidnapped at gunpoint.

2nd Sheriff Fitz saying Jayme did not resist -

Where did you see that?

3rd- why did they have video cameras on the house ?

It's common for criminals to revisit the scene or to insert themselves in the investigation.

We’ve all been given a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle with no picture on the box. There’s 5 pieces inside.

Figure it out.

It is so hard to fathom, all the way around. There is some pictorial evidence here that is not shared by the mainstream press. For example, the pictures of the screen door. It does appear to be a pink retractable dog leash on top of the meter reader. (I think that is what it is). Why would it be placed there? Why was the little dog found lingering?

Trying to think outside the box. Clues only. IMO.

Is there something in particular that has been posted here about this case that you’re concerned about this person (or persons) knowing?

Good question. In general, from what I’ve observed, Websleuthers have a rather high opinion of themselves, as if they’re smarter than LE and, even though they seldom have access to more than a fraction of the evidence, as if they’re about to break a case wide open from their couches at home.

Could be foreign , could by anything, but only thing they know is bullet/shell...and gun type...

US Shotgun/Italian shotgun wouldn’t show on bullets...

My gun guess is 00 shotgun (could be anything)...

Problem with that is shotgun been around long time. 00 buck list below..

That’s not all too... and sold at wall mart bass pro etc... someone buying little or lot wouldn’t really set off flags..

If they know it’s lead vs steel buckshot
And from shotgun...I don’t know that gives you much... that could encompass deer hunters/turkey/wolf - and home protection.. in that area could be 10 percent of population....

If he has perp... and gun info... could be searching stores close by or gun ranges..worth pursuing but gotta be a grind
