And it’s only gotten like, 2 minute blurbs on the news here, and that’s after the political stories, local stories, and Brewer status. The fact that it’s not at the top of the news is f’d up to me, and that the Brewers are taking precedence over this missing girl.
It’s all over the Internet, from CNN and Fox News, to frequent updates by the AP.

It may not be getting a lot of tv time, but it’s reaching people.

They had extended family all around them. They don't relocate entire families. And they've been described by all but the neighbor as active in their communities.

Yeah, I know, which I why I said off the wall idea.
I’m just brainstorming all possibilities trying to make something seem not so crazy.

(Meth is a serious problem in N-Western WI, it could have ties)
This person or persons could have been under the influence, but there is absolutely no indication that the family had any contact with that sort of thing.

If Meth is connected, it’s related solely to the party responsible, IMHO.

Could it be that the perps were hired to kill and got the wrong address/wrong house and they took Jayme because she was a surprise and they didn't know what to do at that point. No wants to shoot a kid. That's not part of the plan. I read an article that wasn't in the paper there recently that meth was bad in that area. It's just another option to consider. Maybe an unsettled drug debt but got the wrong people.

I lived in a city (long ago) where a casino opened. I can say the amount of gambling debt increased greatly. I saw very credible people lose everthing, including their reputation.
However, just like everything else, this is speculation. We really know zip...
I am in NOLA. Tomorrow we have our annual Halloween parade . NOLA is a great place to hide with so much tourist activity. NOLA is also a place where sex traffickers bring girls. The police here catch many. I will be looking for Jamie , tomorrow.

Close to your town??? Please help me understand what you're saying. TIA
I’m 4 hours away from Barron. If they didn’t realize she was there and abducted until around 3 am, they would’ve been close to my town if not here by that time. I live in a pretty big city, so if they managed to flee in a vehicle, they’d have been by my town at that time.

Even my friends who don't pay attention to news known about JC being missing.
That’s the great thing about the Internet. Social media is incredible in creating awareness in cases like this.

It’s not just a blurb in the newspaper anymore, it’s constant worldwide attention.

Unless they went in some other direction or stopped and are hiding somewhere nearer to Barron? moo

I apologize MsBetsy. "DH" refers to "Dear Husband". In this case, my Hubby.

We're kicking theories around about all of this.

I'll try to remember to spell out my abbreviations for those not familiar with some of the terms.
Oh, that's funny because that was my first thought but my second one was, no, that can't be! Anyway I really do wish we knew both their positions and work schedules!

This is such a great photo of Jayme:

Do we know when this was taken?

If this photo is not too old I think it would be a great photo to add to our opening thread posts? Again I’m not sure when it was taken but the photo credit says Facebook.
@JerseyGirl

She's absolutely precious. Please come hone safe Jayme! If I could WILL it to be so, I surely would!

That's one possibility. I read in one of the previous threads that if you type their address into Google or something that it returned an incorrect house. There was also that arrest near by, considered unrelated. Maybe the arrest was for meth production? and the perp(s) were planing on stealing it all, but they got the wrong house. But I'm not sure this accounts for Jayme. Maybe they panicked and grabbed her? But then what, and why? I don't know if I would place the probability of the wrong house higher than a personal vendetta against the parents. It's possible though.

The timing is interesting to me, as is the location. That location is about as random and out of the way as an "impulse kidnapping" location could be, in that it is doubtful that a stranger just happened upon a home that is completely off the road and hidden by trees, on a main rural thoroughfare with few other homes in the area, and at such a late time of night.

So, if as posited, dad worked second shift and arrived home around the same time or shortly before the events unfolded, then it makes most sense that someone followed him there, and more than likely from work. Maybe dad had something to give to or sell to this person, or maybe he didn't know the person was following him at all.

Or, if dad didn't work late and had been home for awhile, then this was likely a planned event by someone that A) the parents crossed in some way or B) that the child met online.

JMO.

But if this person who took her wants to be “unnoticed” I’d think they’d go to a larger city where they can hide in plain sight. That’s why I’m pissed that this is buried in the local news.

Hey guys this is my first post. I read in the last thread or so that many people were confused about why she may have switched schools to be with her caregiver. I would like to give my insight and opinion on that

As a 20 year old female, i can relate to jayme a lot. The way people have described her reminds me a lot of myself. Shy and quiet, yet sweet and thoughtful. Around Jaymes age is when I started to develop anxiety, and i believe thay contributed a lot of be being pretty shy. Anyways, as i was a shy girl, i was a pretty easy target when it came to bullying. Due to all the bullying and anxiety i was going through at school, i used to beg my mom to switch schools. We couldn’t afford a private school and I couldnt go to another public school unless i lived in that town or school district. My parents were divorced, and my dad lived in another town. Luckily because of my dad, i was able to transfer schools to the town he lived in, even though he did not have custody of me at the time.

So i was possibly thinking that she might of wanted to switch schools possibly to bullying? Especially around jaymes age is where bullying is at its highest, in my personal experience. And because she had a caregiver that lived in another school district, they used that as a reason to switch to a different school district. Another possible reason she could have a caregiver is if she has anxiety. However i could be completely wrong on all of this.

Idk if this is permitted, but it is out there on the internet. It may have already been posted, if so, either way, my apologies. It is the dispatch sheet, and provides a bit of a timeline. The map overview from the pva shows that neighbors, and the Closs family, sit kinda back from the road, so it would be a bit difficult to see a vehicle, I'd think. The 1 or so acre square is the Closs property.
